1. A method of securing an infusion set to a skin surface, comprising the steps ofplacing a needle or cannula of the infusion set in the skin surface;
- controlling a minimum bend radius of the placed needle or cannula to resist deformation and fracture thereof;
facilitating bending of the needle or cannula by providing freedom to flex; and
bending the needle or cannula around a rounded protrusion on a hub of the infusion set to control the bend radius of the needle or cannula;
whereinsaid rounded protrusion has two opposing side portions and an adjoining rear portion together surrounding a slot in said hub, around each of which side and rear portions said needle or cannula can bend.
