1. A touch display driver integrated chip (TDDI) comprising:
- a display driver configured to drive a source line of a display panel and to generate a timing control signal that controls driving of the source line; and
a touch controller configured to generate touch data at a timing based on the timing control signal and to exchange a signal with a host controller, wherein the display driver and the touch controller are included in a same semiconductor chip, wherein the display driver provides power from 4 to 5V to the touch controller when the display driver is in a low-power consumption mode and an operation for driving the source line of the display panel is kept deactivated, andwherein the touch controller is configured to periodically perform a touch sensing operation by using the power from the display driver during the low-power consumption mode of the display driver.

Abstract
A touch controller includes a touch data generator that is connected to a plurality of sensing lines, the touch data generator sensing a change in capacitance of a sensing unit connected to each of the sensing lines and generating touch data by processing the sensing signal corresponding to the result of sensing; and a signal processor that controls a timing of generating the touch data by receiving at least one piece of timing information for driving a display panel from a timing controller, and then providing either the timing information or a signal generated from the timing information as a control signal to the touch data generator.
