1. A method comprising:

  • receiving, by a second base station, information corresponding to a device-to-device (D2D) communication resource allocation from a first pool of D2D communication resources to a first electronic device controlled by a first base station, wherein the first pool of D2D communication resources is reserved for D2D communication within a D2D communication group that includes the first electronic device, a second electronic device, and a third electronic device, and each electronic device of the D2D communication group communicates with each of the other electronic devices of the D2D communication group using the first pool of D2D communication resources;

    receiving, by the second base station, information indicating a change to the first pool of D2D communication resources for the D2D communication group from the first base station;

    transmitting, by the second base station, information corresponding to the changed first pool of D2D communication resources to the second electronic device in response to receiving the information indicating the change to the first pool of D2D communication resources from the first base station;

    receiving, by the second base station, information indicating a change to a second pool of D2D communication resources from a third base station that controls the third electronic device within the D2D communication group; and

    transmitting, by the second base station, information corresponding to the changed second pool of D2D communication resources to the second electronic device.
