Abstract

A vacuum adiabatic body includes a first plate; a second plate; a seal; a support; a heat resistance unit; and an exhaust port, wherein the heat resistance unit includes a conductive resistance sheet connected to at least one of the first and second plates, the conductive resistance sheet resisting heat conduction flowing along a wall for the third space, the conductive resistance sheet includes a mounting part mounted on the first or second plate and a curved part having at least one portion depressed into the third space, a coupler that fixes the conductive resistance sheet to the first or second plate is formed on the mounting part, and the curved part includes a first curved part depressed toward the third space and a second curved part extending from the first curved part, the second curved part surrounding an edge portion of the first or second plate.

Claims

1. A vacuum adiabatic body comprising:

a first plate defining at least one portion of a first side of a wall adjacent to a first space having a first temperature;

a second plate defining at least one portion of a second side of the wall adjacent to a second space having a second temperature different from the first temperature;

a support that supports the first and second plates and is provided in a third space;

an exhaust port through which a gas in the third space is exhausted; and

a conductive resistance sheet connected to at least one of the first and second plates and configured to resist heat transfer between the first and second plates, wherein

the conductive resistance sheet includes a mounting portion mounted on the first plate and a curved portion having at least one portion depressed into the third space,

a seal disposed on the mounting portion to fix the conductive resistance sheet to the first plate, and

the curved portion includes a first curved portion recessed into the third space and a second curved portion that extends from the first curved portion, the second curved portion surrounding an edge of the first plate.

2. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein a boundary between the first curved portion and the second curved portion has a curvature of 0.

3. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 2, wherein, when a curvature of the second curved portion is R, and a vertical distance from the mounting portion to the boundary between the first curved portion and the second curved portion t, t/10<

R is satisfied.

4. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein the seal includes a welding part.

5. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 4, wherein the welding part is spaced apart from the edge of the first plate by a predetermined length.

6. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein the edge of the first plate, surrounded by the second curved portion, is rounded.

7. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein the edge of the first plate, surrounded by the second curved portion, is chamfered.

8. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein the conductive resistance sheet is made of a stainless steel-based, titanium-based, or iron-based material.

9. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein the conductive resistance sheet is made of precipitation hardening stainless steel (AM350).

10. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 1, wherein a thickness of the conductive resistance sheet is equal to or smaller than 300 μ

m.

11. The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 10, wherein the thickness of the conductive resistance sheet is equal to or greater than 0.57 μ

m and equal to or smaller than 3.98 μ

m.

12. A refrigerator comprising:

a main body including an internal space in which goods are stored; and

a door provided to open and close the main body,

wherein, in order to supply a refrigerant into the main body, the refrigerator includes;

a compressor that compresses the refrigerant;

a condenser that condenses the compressed refrigerant;

an expander that expands the condensed refrigerant; and

an evaporator that evaporates the expanded refrigerant to transfer heat,

wherein at least one of the main body and the door includes a vacuum adiabatic body,

wherein the vacuum adiabatic body includes;

a first plate defining at least one portion of a first side of a wall adjacent to the internal space having a first temperature;

a second plate defining at least one portion of a second side of the wall adjacent to an external space having a second temperature;

a seal that seals the first plate and the second plate to provide a vacuum space that has a third temperature between the first temperature and the second temperature and is in a vacuum state;

a support that supports the first and second plates and is provided in the vacuum space;

an exhaust port through which a gas in the vacuum space is exhausted;

a conductive resistance sheet connected to at least one of the first and second plates and configured to resist heat transfer between the first and second plates, and

the conductive resistance sheet includes a curved portion having at least one portion recessed into the vacuum space and a mounting portion mounted on the first plate,

wherein the curved portion is recessed into the vacuum space by a pressure difference between the vacuum space and the external space,

wherein the curved portion includes a first curved portion recessed into the vacuum space and a second curved portion that extends from the first curved portion, the second curved portion surrounding an edge of the first plate.

13. The refrigerator according to claim 12, wherein a welding part is formed on the mounting portion to fix the conductive resistance sheet to the first plate.

14. The refrigerator according to claim 12, wherein a boundary between the first curved portion and the second curved portion has a curvature of 0, and

wherein, when a curvature of the second curved portion is R, and a vertical distance from the mounting portion to the boundary between the first curved portion and the second curved portion t, t/10<

R is satisfied.
