1. A method of making a vacuum insulated glass (VIG) window unit, the method comprising:

  • providing a sealing material on, directly or indirectly, a first glass substrate and/or a second glass substrate;

    providing the first and second glass substrates in substantially parallel, spaced apart relation to one another, where the sealing material is provided on at least one of the glass substrates, and a gap being defined between the first and second substrates, and wherein at least a portion of the sealing material is located between the first and second glass substrates;

    melting the sealing material at least at a melting temperature, the melting temperature being less than about 400 degrees C., so that after the melting, and curing, the first and second glass substrates are sealed to each other directly or indirectly in making the VIG window unit, andwherein the sealing material is formed from a base composition comprising;
