1. A packet switched (PS) service identification method, comprising:

  • determining, by a terminal, a weight of at least one socket, wherein the at least one socket is comprised in a PS service socket, wherein the weight of the at least one socket is determined according to an interaction frequency between the at least one socket and a service server, and wherein the service server is a server bearing a service corresponding to the at least one socket;

    determining, by the terminal, a key socket from the at least one socket according to the weight of the at least one socket, wherein determining the key socket from the at least one socket comprises setting, by the terminal as the key socket, a socket in the at least one socket whose interaction frequency exceeds a threshold, and wherein a coupling of the key socket is a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) short coupling or a User Datagram Protocol (UDP) short coupling; and

    sending, by the terminal, an identifier of the key socket to a network side device.
