a longitudinal slot defined in said deck, wherein said longitudinal slot is configured to receive a firing member;
a first longitudinal row of staple cavities; and
a second longitudinal row of staple cavities;
a sled movable toward said distal end by the firing member during a firing stroke, wherein said sled comprises;
a central portion aligned with said longitudinal slot;
a first ramp aligned with said first longitudinal row of staple cavities;
a second ramp aligned with said second longitudinal row of staple cavities; and
a connecting portion extending between said central portion, said first ramp, and said second ramp;
an arrangement of diverse staples, comprising;
a plurality of first staples removably stored in said first longitudinal row of staple cavities, wherein each said first staple is comprised of a bent wire; and
a plurality of second staples removably stored in said second longitudinal row of staple cavities, wherein each said second staple is formed from flat stock and comprises a unitary driver comprising a non-linear sloped cam surface, and wherein said second ramp of said sled is configured to directly engage said non-linear sloped cam surfaces of said unitary drivers to eject said second staples from said second longitudinal row of staple cavities during the firing stroke; and
a plurality of staple drivers configured to support said first staples, wherein said first ramp of said sled is configured to engage said staple drivers to eject said first staples from said first longitudinal row of staple cavities during the firing stroke.

Abstract
A staple cartridge assembly is disclosed. The staple cartridge assembly includes one or more wire staples and one or more staples formed from a sheet of material. For example, the staple cartridge assembly can include an arrangement of diverse staples. A first type of staple can be arranged in a first longitudinal row and a second type of staple can be arranged in a second longitudinal row. The first type of staple can be wire staples supported by staple drivers. The second type of staples can be formed from a flat sheet of material and can each include an integral driver. A sled can be configured to engage the staple drivers to eject the first type of staples and to directly engage the integral drivers of the second type of staples to fire the arrangement of diverse staples from the staple cartridge assembly.
