Abstract

An apparatus and method for using a wearable computer in testing applications that uses a probe, a display, an audio communication device, a computer adapted to receive data from the probe, exchange data with the display, exchange data with the audio communications device, and exchange data using wireless communication, a battery, and a harness for securing the probe, display, computer, and battery to a person'"'"'s body.

Claims

1. A wearable computer system for use in testing and diagnostic applications, comprising:

a probe;

a display;

an audio communication device;

a computer adapted to;

(a) receive data from said probe,

(b) exchange data with said display,

(c) exchange data with said audio communication device, and

(d) exchange data by wireless communication;

a battery to supply power to said display and said computer;

a harness for supporting said probe, said display, said computer, and said battery from the body of a user.

2. The system as recited in claim 1, further comprising:

a camera; and

wherein

(a) said computer is adapted to receive data from said camera,

(b) said battery is used to supply power to said camera, and

(c) said harness is used for supporting said camera from the body of the user.
