Abstract

A trailer system is provided in which the trailer system can include a frame having a front end, a rear end, opposing sides between the front end and the rear end and a hitching mechanism coupled to the front end of the frame. The trailer system can also include a wheel assembly coupled to the frame in which the wheel assembly contains at least two wheels and a stabilizing mechanism coupled to the frame and the wheel assembly. The trailer system can also include a plurality of wheel assemblies and stabilizing mechanisms. Further, the frame of the trailer system can have at least one first support member extending from the front end section to said rear end section and at least one second support member extending from said first support member towards one of said side sections. Each stabilizing mechanism can be coupled to the rear end, front end or one of the opposing sides of the frame. In addition, each stabilizing mechanism can be coupled to one of the first or second support members of the frame.

Claims

1. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end and opposing sides between said front end and said rear end;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said frame;

a wheel assembly coupled to said frame, wherein said wheel assembly contains at least two wheels; and

a stabilizing mechanism coupled to said frame and said wheel assembly.

2. The trailer system according to claim 1, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

3. The trailer system according to claim 1, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

4. The trailer system according to claim 1, wherein said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

5. The trailer system according to claim 1, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

6. The trailer system according to claim 1, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to one of said opposing sides of said frame.

7. The trailer system according to claim 1, further comprising a plurality of said stabilizing mechanisms, said stabilizing mechanisms coupled to said frame and said wheel assembly.

8. The trailer system according to claim 7, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.

9. The trailer system according to claim 7, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

10. The trailer system according to claim 7, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

11. The trailer system according to claim 7, wherein at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame and at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

13. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

14. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

15. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

16. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

17. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

18. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame and at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

19. The trailer system according to claim 12, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.

12. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end and opposing sides between said front end and said rear end;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said frame;

at least two wheel assemblies coupled to said frame, wherein each said wheel assembly contains at least one wheel; and

a stabilizing mechanism, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said frame and at least one of said wheel assemblies.

20. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end and opposing sides between said front end and said rear end;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said front end of said frame;

at least two wheel assemblies coupled to said rear end of said trailer frame, wherein each said wheel assembly contains at least two wheels; and

a stabilizing mechanism, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said frame and at least one of said wheel assemblies.

21. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

22. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

23. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

24. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

25. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

26. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame and at least one said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

27. The trailer system according to claim 20, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.

29. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

30. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

31. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

32. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

33. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to one of said opposing sides of said frame.

34. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to one of said first support members.

35. The trailer system according to claim 28, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to one of said second support members.

36. The trailer system according to claim 28, further comprising a plurality of said stabilizing mechanisms, said stabilizing mechanisms coupled to said frame and said wheel assembly.

37. The trailer system according to claim 36, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.

38. The trailer system according to claim 36, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

39. The trailer system according to claim 36, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

40. The trailer system according to claim 36, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said first support members.

41. The trailer system according to claim 36, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said second support members.

28. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end, opposing sides between said front end and said rear end, at least one first support member extending from said front end to said rear end and at least one second support member extending from said first support member towards one of said sides;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said frame;

a wheel assembly coupled to said frame, wherein said wheel assembly contains at least two wheels; and

a stabilizing mechanism coupled to said frame and said wheel assembly.

42. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end, opposing sides between said front end and said rear end, at least one first support member extending from said front end to said rear end and at least one second support member extending from said first support member towards one of said sides;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said frame;

at least two wheel assemblies coupled to said frame, wherein said wheel assembly contains at least one wheel; and

a stabilizing mechanism, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said frame and at least one of said wheel assemblies.

43. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

44. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

45. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

46. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

47. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

48. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said first support members.

49. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said second support members.

50. The trailer system according to claim 42, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.

51. A trailer system, comprising:

a frame having a front end, a rear end, opposing sides between said front end and said rear end, at least one first support member extending from said front end to said rear end and at least one second support member extending from said first support member towards one of said sides;

a hitching mechanism coupled to said frame;

at least two wheel assemblies coupled to said second support member of said frame, wherein each said wheel assembly contains at least two wheels; and

a stabilizing mechanism, wherein said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said frame and at least one of said wheel assemblies.

52. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein said hitching mechanism is a rotating coupler.

53. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein said frame further comprises a ramp attached to said frame.

54. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism includes an arm and a receiver for said arm.

55. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to said rear end of said frame.

56. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said opposing sides of said frame.

57. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said first support members.

58. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is coupled to at least one of said second support members.

59. The trailer system according to claim 51, wherein each said stabilizing mechanism is disposed in a separate vertical plane.
