Abstract

When a presentation is performed using a web browser, in a manual mode, the display sequence of web pages registered in a bookmark list is specified using an operation button, and in an automatic mode, a plurality of pages registered in a bookmark list are automatically displayed in a predetermined sequence. Further, background music and a narration are also automatically played back.

Claims

1. A slide show system comprising:

browser means for obtaining information using address information defined on an information network, and for outputting the thus-obtained information; and

control means for informing the address information to the browser means according to a predetermined output sequence, and for instructing output of information corresponding to the thus-informed address information.

2. The slide show system according to claim 1, further comprising:

storage means for storing a correspondence relationship between at least one piece of address information and a sequence number representing the output sequence, wherein

the control means refers to the correspondence relationship and determines address information to be informed to the browser means.

3. The slide show system according to claim 2, further comprising:

operation means for allowing a user to specify information to be outputted next, wherein

the control means informs address information corresponding to the thus-specified information by the operation means to the browser means.

4. The slide show system according to claim 3, wherein the operation means specifies one of information pieces before and after information currently being outputted as the information to be outputted next.

5. The slide show system according to claim 2, wherein the control means informs the at least one piece of address information to the browser means according to the output sequence.

6. The slide show system according to claim 5, wherein the control means informs the at least one piece of address information to the browser means at prescribed time intervals.

7. The slide show system according to claim 6 wherein the control means changes the time intervals according to the sequence number.

8. The slide show system according to claim 1, further comprising:

sound output means for outputting sound information including at least one of music and a narration, wherein

the control means instructs the sound output means to output the sound information.

9. The slide show system according to claim 8, wherein the control means determines sound information to be outputted according to the sequence number of address information representing the output sequence.

10. The slide show system according to claim 1, wherein the browser means obtains information via a communication network using address information informed by the control means.

11. The slide show system according to claim 1, further comprising:

storage means for storing information to be outputted corresponding to address information, wherein

the browser means obtains information which is stored in the storage means using address information informed by the control means.

12. A computer-readable storage medium which stores a program for causing a computer to execute the steps of:

referring to a correspondence relationship between at least one piece of address information defined on an information network and a sequence number of a predetermined output sequence; and

informing address information corresponding to a current sequence number to a browser, and instructing output of information corresponding to the thus-informed address information.

13. A computer-readable storage medium which stores a program for causing a computer to execute the steps of:

referring to a correspondence relationship between at least one piece of address information defined on an information network and a sequence number of a predetermined output sequence;

obtaining information using address information corresponding to a current sequence number; and

outputting the thus-obtained information.

14. A slide show method comprising the steps of:

preparing a correspondence relationship between at least one piece of address information defined on an information network and a sequence number of a predetermined output sequence;

obtaining address information corresponding to a current sequence number with reference to the correspondence relationship;

obtaining information using the address information corresponding to the current sequence number; and

presenting the thus-obtained information.
