Abstract

Information service system with application devices, particularly for the police, with information systems, an intelligent, dynamically implemented portal for a standardized access to the downstream information systems with a scope dependent on the user, at least one terminal for access to the portal and at least one communication device for linking the terminal with the portal.

Claims

1. Information service system with application devices, particularly for the police, with information systems (C), an intelligent, dynamically implemented portal (B) for standardized access to the downstream information systems (C) with a scope dependent on the user, at least one terminal (10;

16) for access to the portal (B) and at least one communication device (17) for linking the terminal (10;

2. Information service system according to claim 1, characterized in that the information systems (C) incorporate at least one external (36;

36d) and/or at least one local data bank (45).

3. Information service system according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the information systems (C) incorporate at least one local media data bank (43).

4. Information service system according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the information systems (C) incorporate at least one local data warehouse (46).

5. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the information systems (C) incorporate at least one local device (42) for a particular application.

6. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the information systems (C) incorporate at least one local office communication system (44).

7. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates a server.

8. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates an engine layer with at least one engine on a layer with an administration device for administering users, the configuration of engines and the administration of upstream and downstream layers.

9. Information service system according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates in an upstream layer a device (54) for authenticating a user and the server.

10. Information service system according to claim 9, characterized in that the authentication device incorporates a user identification device.

11. Information service system according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the portal in the upstream layer incorporates an authorization control and a storage device for controlling the extent of access of a user.

12. Information service system according to claim 11, characterized in that the portal (B) has a device for displaying use possibilities of the portal as a function of the external context, such as e.g. the date, time of day, user and special events.

13. Information service system according to one of the claims 9 to 12, characterized in that the portal in the upstream layer incorporates a device for encrypting the data transmitted by means of the communication device (17) and for decrypting the data received via the communication device (17).

14. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates a device for protecting or establishing the integrity of the data transmitted and received via the communication device (17).

15. Information service system according to one of the claims 8 to 14, characterized in that the engine layer incorporates a subscription engine for a user subscribing to information lists and further services.

16. Information service system according to one of the claims 8 to 15, characterized in that the engine layer incorporates a filter engine (58).

17. Information service system according to one of the claims 8 to 16, characterized in that the engine layer incorporates an information repository engine (60) and/or an application repository engine (62) and/or an office communication repository engine (64).

18. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates an output engine (70).

19. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates an interface integrator (67) for downstream information systems (C).

20. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates at least one value-added service system (66).

21. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portal (B) incorporates a request broker (68).

22. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a firewall machine (30) between the portal (B) and at least one communication device (17).

23. Information service system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a firewall machine (32) between the portal (B) and the downstream information systems (C).
