Abstract

A wiper device includes a wiper arm that is mounted in driveable fashion and that bears a wiper blade, the wiper arm being formed by an essentially U-shaped profile part that surrounds the wiper blade at least partially. The front limb, which in the installed position points essentially in the direction of travel of the vehicle, forms a spoiler, and at least one air outlet opening is situated on the additional limbs. An air guide element, configured to pass through the profile part, is arranged at least in the inner area of the U-shaped profile part.

Claims

1. A wiper device, in particular for windshields of motor vehicles, having a wiper arm (16) mounted in driveable fashion, to which a wiper blade (18) can be coupled, the wiper arm (16) being formed by an essentially U-shaped profile part (26) that has a front limb (28) fashioned as a spoiler, which in the installed position essentially points in the forward direction of the vehicle, and that has a rear limb (32) and a back (30), at least one air outlet opening (40) being situated in the profile part (26),

wherein at least one air guide element (36, 38) is provided, at least in the interior area (34) of the U-shaped profile part.

2. The wiper device according to claim 1,

wherein the at least one air outlet opening (40) is situated in the rear limb (32), facing away from the spoiler, of the U-shaped profile part (26).

3. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein at least one air guide element (36, 38) protrudes beyond a plane formed by the edges of the limb (28, 32) of the U-shaped profile part (26).

4. The wiper device according to claim 3,

wherein the protruding air guide element (38) has, on its protruding area, a soft rubber lip (46) along its longitudinal extension.

5. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the air guide elements (36, 38) are situated in such a way that the flow cross-section of an air inlet opening (42) is smaller than the flow cross-section of the air outlet opening (40).

6. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein in the installed position at least one air guide element (36, 38) is closer to the surface to be wiped in the area facing the direction of flow than in the area facing away from the direction of flow.

7. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the air guide elements (36, 38) are situated such that the air flowing through is accelerated.

8. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein at least one air outlet opening (40) is situated in the back (30) of the U-shaped profile part (26).

9. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein at least two air outlet openings (40) are provided, and at least one air outlet opening (40) is situated in the rear limb (32), and at least one additional such opening is situated in the back (30).

10. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the air guide elements (36, 38) are fashioned as an injection-molded part.

11. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the at least one air guide element (36, 38) is clipped or glued into the profile part (26).

12. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the at least one air guide element (36, 38) has at least one projection for guiding the wiper blade (18).

13. The wiper device according to one of the preceding claims,

wherein the at least one air guide element (36, 38) forms a funnel-type channel.

14. A wiper arm, in particular for a wiper device according to one of the preceding claims, having at least one essentially U-shaped profile part (26) to which a wiper blade (18) is able to be coupled,

wherein at least in the inner area (34) of the U-shaped profile part (26) at least one air guide element (36, 38) is provided.

15. The wiper arm according to claim 14,

wherein at least one of the air guide elements (36, 38) is borne by the wiper blade (18).

16. The wiper arm according to claim 15,

wherein the profile part (26) has, in the area of its front limb (28), at least one air flow opening (70), for receiving air guide elements (36, 38) borne by the wiper blade (18).

17. The wiper arm according to claim 16,

wherein at least one of the air guide elements (36, 38) terminates approximately flush with the front limb (28), in particular forming an essentially flat surface.

18. The wiper arm according to one of claims 14 to 17,

wherein the profile part (26) has a plurality of air flow openings (70) along its longitudinal extension.

19. The wiper arm according to one of claims 14 to 18,

wherein nozzles (78) for the exit of cleaning fluid are situated in the area of the rear limb (32).

20. A wiper blade (18) having at least one wiper blade element (58), at least one blade back (60), and at least one fastening section ( ) for fastening to a wiper arm (16),

wherein the blade back (60) bears at least one lower air guide element (36) that works together with an upper air guide element (38) situated on or in the wiper arm (16).

21. The wiper blade (18) according to claim 20,

wherein the lower air guide element (36) is able to pass through the profile part (26) of the wiper arm (16), in particular through its front limb (28).

22. The wiper blade (18) according to one of claims 20 and 21,

wherein the blade back (60 ) bears a plurality of air guide elements (36) along the longitudinal extension of the wiper blade (18).
