1. A mobile station which is provided in a moving object and which intermittently runs to execute a wireless signal waiting process even while main power of the moving object is off, said mobile station comprising:
- a first CPU which executes the wireless signal waiting process; and
resetting means which resets said first CPU, wherein said resetting means does not reset said first CPU while said first CPU executes the wireless signal waiting process at resetting timing when said resetting means starts to reset said first CPU.

Abstract
While main power in an automobile is off, a telematics station in the automobile intermittently runs to execute a process. The station has a first CPU in a wireless section for a wireless signal waiting process and a second CPU, having active and sleep modes, in a control section for resetting the first CPU. At resetting timing, if the first CPU is executing the process, it outputs a signal indicating that it is executing the process for the second CPU not to reset it. When the main power turns on, the second CPU determines that the signal is not outputted in order to reset the first CPU.

a control section which controls communications with outside through said wireless section;
a first CPU which periodically runs to execute a wireless signal waiting process in said wireless section; and

24. A method of resetting a CPU for a mobile station which runs in either of sleep and active modes and is provided with said CPU intermittently running to execute a wireless signal waiting process even while said mobile station runs in the sleep mode, said method comprising steps of:

outputting from said first CPU a waiting signal indicating that the wireless signal waiting process is being executed while the wireless signal waiting process is executed;
shifting from the sleep mode to the active mode;
determining presence or absence of said waiting signal;
asserting a reset signal outputted to said first CPU when the absence is determined;
supplying said first CPU with power after asserting said reset signal;
resetting said first CPU after supplying the power; and
negating said reset signal after said first CPU is reset.
