Abstract

A system with a transaction operator processor (1) for supporting a business transaction, the business transaction, including at least receiving an order from a communication device (7(j)) of a client, and arranging for an automatic payment transaction associated with said business transaction from a client account to a merchant account; the system has at least one client service provider processor (5(i)) provided with a memory storing client profile data necessary for the business transaction and arranged to communicate the client profile data to the transaction operator processor (1) during the business transaction, the transaction operator processor (1) performing the business transaction upon receipt of the client profile data.

Claims

1. A system comprising a transaction operator processor (1) for supporting a business transaction, the business transaction including at least receiving an instruction from a communication device (7(j)) of a client, and arranging for an automatic payment transaction associated with said business transaction from a client account to a merchant account,

wherein said system also comprises at least one client service provider processor (5(i)) provided with a memory storing client profile data necessary for said business transaction and arranged to communicate said client profile data to said transaction operator processor (1) during said business transaction, said transaction operator processor (1) being arranged to perform said business transaction upon receipt of said client profile data, said transaction operator processor (1) being arranged to perform any transaction using at least one of the following features:

a client Id identifying said client;

a merchant Id identifying a merchant associated with said transaction;

a debit amount associated with said transaction, and

a transaction Id identifying said transaction.

2. System according to claim 1, wherein said client profile data include a client Id identifying said client, a payment providers list related to said client Id and indicating which payment providers are available to perform said automatic payment transaction.

3. System according to claim 2, wherein said client profile data include a financial data list indicating which payment providers are available to perform said automatic payment transaction in dependence on a predetermined price of the business transaction.

4. System according to claim 2 or 3, wherein said client profile data include Merchant Id'"'"'s indicating merchants at whom predetermined products and services can be obtained, as well as product Id'"'"'s indicating said predetermined products.

5. System according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one client service provider processor (5) is arranged to provide at least the following to clients:

client related business transaction overviews;

a client oriented help desk function.

System according to any of the preceding claims, comprising at least one merchant service provider processor with a memory storing merchant profile data used for said business transaction and arranged to communicate said merchant profile data to said transaction operator processor (1) during said business transaction.

8. System according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the system is arranged to perform the following functions:

receiving a transaction request from a merchant;

sending a checking request to the communication device (7(j)) of a client associated with said transaction request;

receiving a confirmation from said communication device (7(j));

performing the business transaction related to said transaction request.

9. System according to any of the claims 1 through 7, wherein the system is arranged to perform the following functions:

receiving an order code from the communication device (7(j)) of a client;

sending said order code to a merchant;

receiving transaction data from said merchant;

sending a checking request to said communication device (7(j));

receiving a confirmation from said communication device (7(j));

performing the business transaction related to said order code.

10. System according to any of the claims 1 through 7, wherein the system is arranged to perform the following functions:

receiving an order code from the communication device (7(j)) of a client;

receiving a transaction order from said merchant;

sending a checking request to said communication device (7(j));

receiving a confirmation from said communication device (7(j));

performing the business transaction related to said transaction order.

11. System according to any of the claims 1 through 7, wherein the system is arranged to perform the following functions:

receiving a transaction order from a trusted merchant processor (61);

performing the business transaction related to said transaction order.

7. System according to any of the claims, wherein the at least one merchant service provider processor (13) is arranged to provide at least the following to merchants:

merchant related business transaction overviews;

a merchant oriented help desk function;

the transaction operator processor (1), the at least one client service provider processor (5) and the at least one merchant service provider processor (13) being arranged to communicate with one another through a telecommunication network (47).

A method to be performed by a system comprising a transaction operator processor (1) for supporting a business transaction, the business transaction including at least receiving an instruction from a communication device (7(j)) of a client, and arranging for an automatic payment transaction associated with said business transaction from a client account to a merchant account,

wherein said system also comprises at least one client service provider processor (5(i)) provided with a memory storing client profile data necessary for said business transaction and the method comprises the step of communicating said client profile data to said transaction operator processor (1) during said business transaction, performing said business transaction upon receipt of said client profile data, and performing any transaction using at least one of the following features:

a client Id identifying said client;

a merchant Id identifying a merchant associated with said transaction;

a debit amount associated with said transaction, and

a transaction Id identifying said transaction.
