Abstract

Method and device for transmitting information between electronic devices, which are able to send and to receive information as well as be in wireless communication connection with each other. In the method an active communication connection is identified and in case the communication connection is active following phases are carried out: the first earlier mentioned electronic device sends automatically the information the user of the earlier mentioned device has chosen as a response to the identified communication connection and the earlier mentioned information is automatically presented by the other electronic device to the user of the other electronic device as a response to the identified communication connection.

Claims

1. A method for transferring information between the first electronic device and at least one other electronic device, which electronic devices are able to send and receive information as well as be in wireless communication connection with each other, wherein in the method:

an operation connected with processing of information is performed by the user of said first electronic device during a communication connection,

the active communication connection between said first and at least one other electronic device is identified,

as a response to the identified communication connection and the operation connected with processing of information a command is offered to the user of said first device by said first device, which command includes a possibility to send said information to said at least one other electronic device.

2. A method in accordance with claim 1, wherein further in the method said information is provided to the user of said at least one other device in response to the identified communication connection.

3. A method in accordance with claim 2, wherein said information is provided to said user of the other device providing a command by said device, which command comprises a possibility to receive the earlier mentioned information.

4. A method in accordance with claims 1 or 3, wherein said command is provided to the user in a menu, which menu further comprises a cancel-command, with which the earlier mentioned command may be cancelled by the user.

5. A method in accordance with claim 2, wherein said operation connected with processing of information is one of the following:

retrieving information stored in the memory of said first device and creating information by said device.

6. A method in accordance with claim 5, wherein said information is at least one of the following:

real time visual information, real time audio information, real time audio-visual information, stored visual information, stored audio information and stored audio-visual information.

7. A method in accordance with claim 1, wherein said communication connection is at least one of the following:

voice connection and data connection between the users of said electronic devices.

8. An electronic device (200) comprising means for establishing a communication connection (201, 205, 206) for creating a wireless communication connection with at least one other electronic device, the first sending means (201, 202, 205, 206, 209) for sending information, receiving means (201, 202, 205, 206, 209) for receiving information, presenting means (204, 201, 202, 209) for presenting information to the user of the device, wherein, the device further comprises:

processing means (201, 202, 203, 204, 207, 208, 209) for performing an operation connected with processing of information during the communication connection as a response to user input,

identifying means (201, 202, 209) for identifying an active communication connection between said first and said at least one other electronic device,

first operating means of the user interface (201, 202, 204, 209) for providing a command to the user of the device in response to the identified communication connection and an operation connected with processing of information, which command comprises a possibility to sent said information to said at least one other electronic device.

9. A device (200) in accordance with claim 8, wherein the device further comprises a second controlling means of the user interface (201, 202, 204, 209) for providing the received information to the user of said device in response to the identified communication connection.

10. A device (200) in accordance with claim 9, wherein said second controlling means of the user interface have been arranged to provide to the user of said device a command, which comprises a possibility to accept the receiving of the said information.

11. A device (200) in accordance with claims 8 or 9, wherein said first and second controlling means of the user interface have been arranged to provide said command in a menu, which menu comprises, apart from this, a cancelling command, with which said command may be cancelled by the user.

12. A device (200) in accordance with claim 8, wherein said processing means have been arranged to carry out one of the following:

retrieving information stored in the memory of the earlier mentioned device from the memory of the device and creating information by the earlier mentioned device.

13. A device (200) in accordance with claim 8, wherein said stored information is one of the following:

visual information, audio information, audio-visual information.

14. A device (200) in accordance with claim 8, wherein said information to be formed is one of the following:

real time visual information, real time audio information, real time audio-visual information.

15. A computer program product to an electronic device comprising means for creating a communication connection for establishing a wireless communication connection with at least one other electronic device, the first sending means for sending information, receiving means for receiving information, the first presenting means for presenting information to the user of the device, wherein that the computer program product comprises:

computer program means for carrying out the operation connected with the information during the communication connection in response to the input of the user,

computer program means for identifying an active communication connection between said first and said at least one other electronic device,

computer program means for providing a menu to the user of the device in response to an identified communication connection and an operation connected with processing of information, which menu comprises a possibility to send said information straight to said at least one other electronic device.

16. A computer programme product in accordance with claim 15, wherein the computer program product further comprises a computer program means for providing the received information to the user of said device in response to identified communication connection.
