Abstract

A method for warning abnormal connection between two bluetooth devices allows a user to adjust a distance between two connected bluetooth devices and to take an average obtained from several quality values read at that distance as a comparison value. Thereafter, a CPU of any one of the devices gets link quality value periodically by a host controller interface (HCI) command. The CPU will send out a warning message to mention the user of the bluetooth device when the quality value is lower than the comparison value, i.e. the connection is abnormal. And then, the user can handle it immediately, for example, pulls the two devices closer to lower the probability of the connection termination. The invention can reach the abnormal connection warning requirements for different users, and allows different users to have abnormal connection warning establishment for different distances.

Claims

1. A method for warning abnormal connection between two bluetooth devices, a CPU of any one of two bluetooth devices, which a connection is built, getting link quality values to confirm the connection situation of said devices.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein said getting link quality values action is processed periodically.

3. The method of claim 1 or 2, said CPU of said device sending out warning message when said connection is abnormal.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein said abnormal means that said quality value is lower than a comparison value set by said device.

5. The method of claim 3, wherein said warning message is vibration, bell ringing or screen displaying.

6. The method of claim 3, said CPU of said device stopping sending out said warning message if said abnormality is removed after said warning message is sent out.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein said abnormality is removed means that said quality value is recovered to be higher than a comparison value set by said device.

8. The method of claim 4 or 6, wherein said comparison value is an average value obtained by reading several times of quality testing values at a distance that is adjusted between two connected bluetooth devices.

9. The method of claim 8, taking a preset maximum value as said comparison value, if said comparison value is larger than said maximum preset value.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein said distance is the farthest distance between said two connected bluetooth devices that a user expects to be warned.

11. The method of claim 10, taking a preset maximum value as said comparison value, if said comparison value is larger than said maximum preset value.

12. A method for warning abnormal connection between two bluetooth devices using preset comparison value, adjusting a distance between two connected bluetooth devices, taking an average value obtained from several quality testing values read at said distance as a comparison value, and getting link quality values, then comparing said link quality values with said comparison value to confirm the connection situation of said devices.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein said getting link quality values action is processed periodically.

14. The method of claim 12 or 13, said CPU of said device sending out warning message when said connection is abnormal.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein said abnormal means that said quality value is lower than a comparison value set by said device.

16. The method of claim 14, said warning message being vibration, bell ringing or screen displaying.

17. The method of claim 14, said CPU of said device stopping sending out said warning message if said abnormality is removed after said warning message is sent out.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein said abnormality is removed means that said quality value is recovered to be higher than a comparison value set by said device.

19. The method of claim 12, taking a maximum preset value as said comparison value, if said comparison value is larger than said maximum preset value.

20. The method of claim 12, wherein said distance is the farthest distance between said two connected bluetooth devices that a user expects to be warned.

21. The method of claim 20, taking a maximum preset value as said comparison value, if said comparison value is larger than said maximum preset value.

22. A bluetooth device, mainly comprising a bluetooth module, a memory and a CPU, said bluetooth being consisted of a RF unit and a baseband unit, and said RF unit being connected to an antenna, said CPU being connected to a warning device and instructing said warning device to emit warning by commands to mention a user of said bluetooth device.

23. The device of claim 22, wherein said warning device comprises a vibration motor, ringing bell and screen.
