1. A body fluid flow control device for placement in a body lumen comprising:

  • a resilient seal of annular configuration;

    a frame coupled to the resilient seal, the frame of circular cross-section and having a passageway extending longitudinally therethrough, the frame being movable between an insertion state and an anchoring state, the frame having a transverse dimension in the anchoring state larger than the transverse dimension in the insertion state, the resilient seal being movable with the frame and configured to seal with a wall of the body lumen in the anchoring state, at least a first portion of the frame having a generally cylindrical shape in the anchoring state so as to induce interfering engagement with a wall area of the body lumen to anchor the body fluid flow control device therein; and

    a valve body coupled to the frame and having a passage therethrough in communication with the passageway in the frame, at least a first portion of the valve body being movable between an open configuration allowing fluid flow through the passage and a closed configuration restricting fluid flow through the passage, the first portion being resiliently biased into the closed configuration.
