Abstract

A strap fastener intended for locking at least one strap tightenably arranged in the strap fastener. The locking of the strap or each of the straps is effected by means of a leaf spring (1) and a roller (2, 3) rotatably arranged in some distance from an end edge (4, 5) of the leaf spring (1). The distance is adapted in such a manner that the strap or each of the straps during the locking may be clamped between the respective roller (2, 3) and edge (4, 5).

Claims

1. A strap fastener intended for locking at least one strap tightenably arranged in the strap fastener, wherein the locking of the strap or each of the straps is effected by means of a leaf spring (1) and a roller (2, 3) rotatably arranged in some distance from an end edge (4, 5) of the leaf spring (1), wherein this distance is adapted in such a manner that the strap or each of the straps during the locking may be clamped between the respective roller (2, 3.) and end edge (4, 5).

A strap fastener according to claim 1, wherein the tightening of the strap or each of the straps causes that the end edge (4, 5) of the leaf spring (1) is outwardly displaced from the rollers (2, 3), whereby the strap or each of the straps may pass freely between the respective roller (2, 3) and end edge (4, 5).

A strap fastener according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the locking of the strap or each of the straps may be released by means of a release button (6) arranged at a portion of the leaf spring (1) in a distance from the end edges (3, 4), whereby the pressing of the release button (6) against the leaf spring (1) causes that the end edges (4, 5) are outwardly displaced from the rollers (2, 3), whereby the strap or each of the straps may pass freely between the respective roller (2, 3) and end edge (4, 5).

4. A strap fastener according to any of the preceding claims, wherein at least one of the rollers (2, 3) and end edges (3, 4) of the leaf spring (1) are inclined relatively to the longitudinal axis of the leaf spring (1).

5. A strap fastener according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the leaf spring (1), rollers (2, 3) and release button (6) are located in a dividable cap (7, 8).

6. A strap fastener according to claim 5, wherein the cap parts (7, 8) are connected by means of a snap connection (9, 10).
