Abstract

A 3D input device (102) is used to generate control data (108) for electronic or electrical devices, and has:

an actuation part (104), which is designed so that it can be manipulated indirectly or directly by at least one finger or hand of the user,

a base plate (106), with respect to which the actuation part (104) is mounted so that it can be moved, the relative movement between the actuation part (104) and the base plate (106) being evaluated in order to generate the control data, and

a display device with a touch screen (107), the touch screen (107) being integrated into the upper side of the base plate (106).

Alternatively, the touch screen (107) may be integrated into the upper side of the actuation part (104). The touch screen (107) of the display device is arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (118) of the actuation part (104).

Claims

1. 3D input device (102) for generating control data (108) for electronic or electrical devices, having:

an actuation part (104), which is designed so that it can be manipulated indirectly or directly by at least one finger or hand of the user,

a base plate (106), with respect to which the actuation part (104) is mounted so that it can be moved, the relative movement between the actuation part (104) and the base plate (106) being evaluated in order to generate the control data, and

a display device with a touch screen (107),

characterised in that,

the touch screen is integrated into the upper side of the base plate (106).

3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that

the touch screen of the display device (107) is arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (118) of the actuation part (104).

5. 3D input device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that

the base plate (106) is used for resting on a working document.

6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by

a processor, which is functionally coupled to the touch screen of the display device (107) and to the actuation part (104), so that parameters of the 3D input device (102) can be adjusted by means of an input on the touch screen of the display device (107).

7. Device according to claim 6, characterised in that

the sensitivity of the 3D input device (102) for movements with up to three degrees of freedom in translation and/or three degrees of freedom in rotation can be adjusted by manual inputs via the touch screen of the display device (107).

8. Device according to one of claims 6 and 7, characterised in that

response thresholds of the 3D input device (102) for movements of virtual objects in translation and/or in rotation can be adjusted by manual inputs via the touch screen of the display device (107).

9. Device according to one of claims 6 to 8, characterised in that

the response times of the 3D input device (102) for movements of virtual objects in translation and/or in rotation can be adjusted individually by manual inputs via the touch screen of the display device (107).

10. Device according to one of claims 5 to 9, characterised in that

assignment of optional technical functions to the degrees of freedom of the 3D input device (102) can be adjusted by manual inputs via the touch screen of the display device (107).

11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that

it has an interface for wireless transmission of control data to an electrical or electronic device.

12. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that

parameterised control signals (108) of movements of the 3D input device (102) with up to three degrees of freedom in translation and three degrees of freedom in rotation can be input via the 3D input device (102).

2. 3D input device (102) for generating control data (108) for electronic or electrical devices, having:

an actuation part (104), which is designed so that it can be manually manipulated indirectly or directly by the user,

a base plate (106), with respect to which the actuation part (104) is mounted so that it can be moved, the relative movement between the actuation part (104) and the base plate (106) being evaluated in order to generate the control data, and

a display device with a touch screen (107),

characterised in that

the touch screen (107) is integrated into the upper side of the actuation part (104).

4. 3D input device (102) for generating control data (108) for electronic or electrical devices, having:

an actuation part (104) which is designed so that it can be manipulated indirectly or directly by at least one finger or hand of the user,

a base plate (106), with respect to which the actuation part (104) is mounted so that it can be moved, the relative movement between the actuation part (104) and the base plate (106) being evaluated in order to generate the control data, and

a display device with a touch screen (107),

characterised in that

the touch screen (107) of the display device is arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (118) of the actuation part (104).
