Abstract

Compact and integral arrangements for an energy-conditioning arrangement (800q) having various predetermined pathways (813a, 813b) utilized in part for the purpose of conditioning energies of either one or multiple of circuitry that would otherwise detrimentally effect a predetermined application having a single or multiple, circuitry systems. Some energy-conditioning variants can be operable to provide multiple-conditioning operations.

Claims

1. An energy conditioner comprising:

a plurality of superposed electrodes that are electrically coupled to one another;

a plurality of electrodes of substantially equal size including at least a first and a second pair of electrodes that are electrically isolated and shielded from one another;

wherein electrodes of said first pair of electrodes are arranged electrically isolated and orientated in mutually opposite positions from one another;

wherein electrodes of said second pair of electrodes are arranged electrically isolated and orientated in mutually opposite positions from one another;

wherein any one superposed electrode of said plurality of superposed electrodes is larger than any one electrode of said plurality of electrodes; and

wherein at least said first and said second pair of electrodes are each arranged orientated from a transverse position relative to the other.

2. The energy conditioner of claim 1, further comprising a material having predetermined properties;

and

wherein said pluralities are spaced apart by at least said material.

18. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which at least a portion of the energy conditioner was made by a doping process.

19. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is at least part of a capacitive network.

20. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner has at least two isolated capacitive networks.

21. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner has at least one bypass capacitor.

22. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner has at least one feedthru capacitor and at least one bypass capacitor.

23. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner has at least two isolated voltage dividers.

24. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is a voltage divider.

25. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is an energy conditioner selected from the group of energy conditioners consisting of a bypass energy conditioner, a feedthru energy conditioner, and a cross over energy conditioner.

26. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is coupled to a component selected from the group of components consisting of a substrate, a motor, and a circuit.

27. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner prevents escape of portions of near field electrical flux from within the energy conditioner.

28. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is operable to be utilized for sustained, electrostatic shielding.

29. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is annular shaped.

30. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner further comprises an annular shaped portion.

31. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner further comprises at least one aperture.

32. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is operable as a portion of a first circuit;

and

wherein the energy conditioner is operable as a portion of a second circuit.

33. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is operable to condition energies of at least two circuits.

34. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which any said electrode of energy conditioner is a split electrode.

35. The energy conditioner as in one of claims 1-17, in which the energy conditioner is energized.

3. An energy conditioner comprising:

a plurality of electrodes arranged electrically coupled to one another;

a first plurality of co-planar electrodes that is shielded;

a second plurality of co-planar electrodes that is shielded; and

wherein said first and said second plurality of co-planar electrodes are at least electrically isolated from said plurality of electrodes and one another.

4. The energy conditioner of claim 3, wherein the first and the second plurality of co-planar electrodes are each shielded from one another.

5. The energy conditioner of claim 4, further comprising a plurality of material portions;

and

wherein each electrode of the energy conditioner is spaced apart from any one other electrode of the energy conditioner by at least a material portion of said plurality of material portions.

6. The energy conditioner of claim 4, further comprising a plurality of material portions;

wherein each electrode of the energy conditioner is sandwiched by at least two material portions of said plurality of material portions.

7. An energy conditioner comprising:

at least a second electrode sandwiched and shielded by a first and a third electrode, and a fourth electrode sandwiched and shielded by the third and a fifth electrode, and a sixth electrode sandwiched and shielded by the fifth and a seventh electrode, and an eighth electrode sandwiched and shielded by the seventh and a ninth electrode;

wherein the second, the fourth, the sixth and the eighth electrode are of substantially the same size and electrically isolated from each other;

wherein the second, the fourth, the sixth and the eighth electrode are each smaller than either one of either the first, the third, the fifth, the seventh or the ninth electrode;

wherein the first, the third, the fifth, the seventh and the ninth electrode are superposed and electrically coupled to one another to shield the second, the fourth, the sixth and the eighth electrode; and

wherein at least the second and the fourth electrode are arranged and orientated in a manner sandwiching the fifth electrode from mutually opposite positions.

8. The energy conditioner according to claim 7, wherein at least the first, the third, the fifth, the seventh and the ninth electrode are shielding electrodes of at least the second, the fourth, the sixth and the eighth electrode.

9. The energy conditioner according to claim 7, wherein at least the first, the third, the fifth, the seventh and the ninth electrode are shield electrodes;

and

wherein at least the second, the fourth, the sixth and the eighth electrode are shielded electrodes.

10. The energy conditioner according to claim 8, wherein the number of shielding electrodes is an odd integer;

and

wherein a total number of electrodes of said energy conditioner is an odd integer.

11. The energy conditioner according to claim 8, wherein the second and the fourth electrode are positioned in orientation from a range that is at least not aligned to 90 degrees perpendicular to a position orientation of the sixth and the eighth electrode.

12. The energy conditioner according to claim 7, wherein each of said electrodes has at least one extended portion.

13. The energy conditioner according to claim 9, wherein each of said shielded electrodes has at least one extended portion;

and

wherein each of said shield electrodes has at least two extended portions.

16. The energy conditioner according to claim 16, wherein the fifth electrode is the central electrode of said electrodes.

14. The energy conditioner of claim 16, further comprising a material;

and

wherein any one electrode of said electrodes is spaced from any other one electrode of said electrodes by at least the material.

15. The energy conditioner of claim 16, further comprising a plurality of material portions;

wherein each electrode of said electrodes is sandwiched by at least two material portions of the plurality of material portions; and

wherein each material portion of the plurality of material portions has at least one predetermined electrical property.

17. An energy conditioner comprising:

a plurality of superposed electrodes including at least a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth superposed electrode that are electrically coupled to one another;

at least two pair of complementary electrodes including at least a first and a second pair of complementary electrodes;

wherein said two pair of complementary electrodes are of equal size and shape;

wherein said two pair of complementary electrodes are each at least electrically isolated from the plurality of superposed electrodes and one another;

wherein each superposed electrode of said plurality is larger than any one complementary electrode of said two pair of complementary electrodes;

wherein a first complementary electrode of said first pair is sandwiched and shielded by said first and said second superposed electrode, and a second complementary electrode of said first pair is sandwiched and shielded by said second and said third superposed electrode, and a first complementary electrode of said second pair is sandwiched and shielded by said third and said fourth superposed electrode, and a second complementary electrode of said second pair is sandwiched and shielded by said fourth and said fifth superposed electrode; and

wherein said plurality of superposed electrodes and said two pair of complementary electrodes are at least spaced from one another by a material.
