Abstract

A portable DVD player, having an output terminal, is detachably received in a console arrangement. The console arrangement includes a DVD player housing, which is adapted for securely supporting within an interior of a vehicle, having a receiving cavity to detachably receive the portable DVD player therein and including an output adapter, which is arranged for electrically extending from a power source of the vehicle, detachably connected to the output terminal of the portable DVD player so as to electrically connect the portable DVD player with respect to the power source of the vehicle.

Claims

1. A portable DVD player, having an output terminal, and a console arrangement thereof, wherein said console arrangement comprises:

a DVD player housing, which is adapted for securely supporting within an interior of a vehicle, having a receiving cavity to detachably receive the portable DVD player therein and comprising an output adapter, which is arranged for electrically extending from a power source of the vehicle, detachably connected to the output terminal of the portable DVD player so as to electrically connect the portable DVD player with respect to the power source of the vehicle.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a guiding unit provide at said DVD player housing to slidably guide said portable DVD player in said receiving cavity, wherein said guiding unit comprises two slider rails formed at two sidewalls of said receiving cavity to engage with two sides of said portable DVD player respectively so that said portable DVD player is slid into said receiving cavity so as to retain said portable DVD player within said DVD player housing in position.

3. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a locking means for securely locking said portable DVD player in said receiving cavity of said DVD player housing.

4. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 2, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a locking means for securely locking said portable DVD player in said receiving cavity of said DVD player housing.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 2, wherein said portable DVD player further comprises a releasable handle mounted on a front side of said portable DVD player for slidably removing said portable DVD player from said receiving cavity of said DVD player housing.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 4, wherein said portable DVD player further comprises a releasable handle mounted on a front side of said portable DVD player for slidably removing said portable DVD player from said receiving cavity of said DVD player housing.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said output adapter comprises a power connector detachably connected to a power socket of said portable DVD player and a signal connector detachably connected to a signal socket of said portable DVD player, so as to electrically connect said DVD player with respect to said vehicle.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 2, wherein said output adapter comprises a power connector detachably connected to a power socket of said portable DVD player and a signal connector detachably connected to a signal socket of said portable DVD player, so as to electrically connect said DVD player with respect to said vehicle.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 4, wherein said output adapter comprises a power connector detachably connected to a power socket of said portable DVD player and a signal connector detachably connected to a signal socket of said portable DVD player, so as to electrically connect said DVD player with respect to said vehicle.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 6, wherein said output adapter comprises a power connector detachably connected to a power socket of said portable DVD player and a signal connector detachably connected to a signal socket of said portable DVD player, so as to electrically connect said DVD player with respect to said vehicle.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a signal output device electrically connected to said output adapter, wherein said signal output device comprises a display screen foldably mounted at said DVD player housing in such a manner that when said portable DVD player is connected to said output adapter, said portable DVD player is electrically connected to said display screen.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a signal output device electrically connected to said output adapter, wherein said signal output device comprises a display screen foldably mounted at said DVD player housing in such a manner that when said portable DVD player is connected to said output adapter, said portable DVD player is electrically connected to said display screen.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 6, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a signal output device electrically connected to said output adapter, wherein said signal output device comprises a display screen foldably mounted at said DVD player housing in such a manner that when said portable DVD player is connected to said output adapter, said portable DVD player is electrically connected to said display screen.

The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 10, wherein said console arrangement further comprises a signal output device electrically connected to said output adapter, wherein said signal output device comprises a display screen foldably mounted at said DVD player housing in such a manner that when said portable DVD player is connected to said output adapter, said portable DVD player is electrically connected to said display screen.

15. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a television as a home theater.

16. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 10, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a television as a home theater.

17. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 14, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a television as a home theater.

18. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 1, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a computer as an external DVD drive.

19. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 10, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a computer as an external DVD drive.

20. The portable DVD player and the console arrangement thereof, as recited in claim 14, wherein said output terminal of said portable DVD player comprises means for electrically connecting to a computer as an external DVD drive.
