Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for deploying an endoluminal prosthesis for engrafting a blood vessel. The apparatus includes a bifurcated graft that is able to conform to the interior surface of the blood vessel and can be deployed through a single entry site.

Claims

1. A bifurcated graft, comprising:

a lateral limb; and

an extension graft coupled to the lateral limb.

2. The graft of claim 1, wherein the lateral limb is a contralateral limb.

3. The graft of claim 1, wherein the extension graft includes a mating portion and an adjustable length portion extending coaxially from a distal end of the mating portion.

4. The graft of claim 3, wherein the mating portion includes a proximal portion and a wire spring having a first spring portion, wherein the first spring portion biases the proximal portion against an interior surface of a vessel.

5. The graft of claim 4, wherein the mating portion further includes a second spring portion connected to the first spring portion by a connecting bar.

6. The graft of claim 5, further comprising a third spring portion provided at a distal end of the adjustable length portion.
