Abstract

The invention relates to the nutrition dispenser (100). More specifically, the invention relates to the nutrition dispenser (100) producing doses of nutrition and/or medication and to the method for producing the doses with the help of the nutrition dispenser. A database arrangement is linked to the nutrition dispenser (100), and further, the nutrition dispenser typically comprises the user interface (102) for feeding at least the information of the user, and rooms (108) for storing different nutrition and/or medical substances. In addition, the nutrition dispenser is arranged to define the optimal dose of nutrition and/or medication intended for the person consuming the dose, and its ingredients, amounts and proportions of ingredients at least partly with the help of the said database arrangement. The nutrition dispenser can further comprise the equipment (110) for measuring out the defined nutrients.

Claims

1. Nutrition dispenser (100) for producing a dose of nutrition and/or medication, characterised in that the database arrangement (304, 500) is linked to nutrition dispenser (100), the nutrition dispenser comprises the user interface (102, 202, 208, 210, 308) for feeding at least information related to the user, rooms (108) for preserving at least two nutrients and/or medical substances, and that the nutrition dispenser is arranged to define an optimal dose of nutrition and/or medication intended for the user, and the ingredients, amounts of ingredients, and proportions of the substances at least partly with the help of the said database arrangement (304, 500), and that the nutrition dispenser comprises the equipment (110) for measuring out the defined nutrients and/or medical substances.

2. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the said database arrangement (304, 500) comprises at least part of information to be selected from the following group:

at least one probability weighting coefficient for at least one gene influencing at least one health property with a certain probability;

at least one probability weighting coefficient for at least one nutrient and/or medical substance influencing at least one health property in a healing or harmful manner with a certain probability;

at least one probability weighting coefficient for at least one gene together with at least one nutrient and/or medical substance influencing at least one health property in a healing or harmful manner with a certain probability;

at least one probability weighting coefficient for the person consuming the dose being allergic to at least one nutrient and/or medical substance with a certain probability;

the optimal quantity proportion of at least two nutrients and/or medical substances, and/or

information which at least one foodstuff has at least one nutrient in the database arrangement.

3. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the said database arrangement (304, 500) is arranged to perform at least one measure to be selected from the following group:

comparing at least one gene from the genetic map of the person consuming the dose with the genetic map information in the database arrangement and selecting the probability weighting coefficient between the said gene, which gene is both in the genetic map of the person consuming the dose and in the database arrangement, and at least one health property, which the said gene influences;

selecting the probability weighting coefficient between the said health property and at least one nutrient and/or medical substance, which influences the said health property either in a healing or harmful manner with a certain probability;

forming the information describing the suitability of the said nutrient and/or medical substance for the person consuming the said dose with the help of the said probability weighting coefficients;

arranging the nutrients and/or medical substances influencing the said health property in a healing or harmful manner with a certain probability, and the probabilities related to the nutrients and/or medical substances being used when defining information describing the suitability of the said nutrient and/or medical substance for the person consuming the said dose to such an order that the nutrient and/or medical substance with the highest probability to have a healing effect on the said health property is placed as the most important, and delivering the information of the said nutrient and/or medical substance to the nutrition dispenser;

registering the amounts of the nutrients and/or medical substances consumed by the person consuming the dose in a cumulative manner and so that they can be connected with the user'"'"'s identifier information;

calculating the combination of at least two probability weighting coefficients between the nutrients and/or medical substances and health properties from different genes of the database arrangement, which genes are also found in the person consuming the dose, to whom the result of the calculation is formed, the value of the combination being closest to the best value, and forming a dose comprising the nutrients and/or medical substances best suitable for the user by picking the information about the nutrients and/or medical substances, to which the probability weighting coefficients are related, with which the best value was formed, and delivering the information about the said nutrients and/or medical substances to the nutrition dispenser; and

/or

comparing the cumulative amounts of substances of nutrients and/or medical substances consumed by the user within the selected period of time with the intake limits set for the said nutrients and/or medical substances;

selecting at least one nutrient or medical substance, the cumulative amount of which in the said period of time is below the area of the defined intake limit, and if the value of the probability weighting coefficient for the said substance influencing a certain health property in a healing manner is above the predetermined limit, suggesting the said nutrient and/or medical substance to be added to the dose of nutrition and/or medication to be produced for the person consuming the dose.

Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the said database arrangement (304, 500) is a distributed database arrangement so that at least one first part of the database arrangement is located in at least one first data processing equipment and at least one second part of the database arrangement is located in at least one second data processing equipment.

5. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the database arrangement (304, 500) further comprises at least one following piece of information:

information related to the relations between illnesses and nutrition/genes characteristic of the reference groups of the person consuming the dose, information about medical substances and their effects on the change in the state of illnesses and the change in the metabolic and nutritive and/or medical state, information concerning the environment of the reference groups, information related to the state of health of the person consuming the dose and the structure and/or functional state of the genes of the person consuming the dose, information related to the environment of the person consuming the dose, information related to the physical performances performed by the person consuming the dose, information related to the factors caused by the growth environment of the nutrition intended to for the person consuming the dose, and information related to the manufacturing method of at least one dose of nutrition and/or medication intended for the person consuming the dose, the amount and time of consuming.

6. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrient and/or medical substance is a raw material, semi-processed product, processed product, or a synthetically manufactured nutrient and/or medical substance.

7. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrient and/or medical substance is either in the form of a liquid, concentrate, powder, emulsion, tablet, capsule, pill, granule or pieces of ice.

8. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrient and/or medical substance is at least one of the following:

water, flavour substance, vitamin, micronutrients, fibre, flavonoids, amino acids, protein, sugar, mineral, lycopen, carbohydrates, fat, minerals, substances containing scent, components of green tea, such as catecin and/or epicatecin, glucose, fructose, caffeine, guarana, green tea extract, pygnogenol, betaine, methylen-sulphonyl-methane (MSM), magnesium, potassium, chrome, carnitine, taurine, conroitine sulphate, glucose aminoglycanes, curcuma, antibodies, probiotics, prebiotics, herbs, such as maidenhair tree, passionflower, hop, oat sprout or lemon balm, medical substance and/or ethereal oils, such as aniseed, nutmeg or cinnamon.

9. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrition dispenser (100) is provided with at least one of the following user interfaces:

keyboard (102), control stick, user interface (202) utilising short-range radio link, the user interface (208) utilising smart cards, the user interface (210) utilising magnet cards, and printing equipment, such as display (104) and/or printer (212).

10. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the information to be fed comprises at least one of the following:

name of the person consuming the dose, ID information, age, gender, length, weight, allergy, liking, special diet, at least part of the genetic map, information about genetic background and structure, genotype (DNA), functional state of genes, tribe, group, nationality, illnesses, mental state, medication, living environment, working environment, type of work, family relations, individual history, work or sports performance, fat percentage, muscular mass, water mass, blood pressure, blood sugar, hemoglobin, cholesterol, locomotoric illness, depression, cardiac disease, hypertension, asthma, headache, migraine, mental illness, illnesses caused by alcohol, dementia, hormone-dependent cancer, and other information essential for the dose of nutrition and/or medication to be personified and prepared for the person consuming the dose.

Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrition dispense (100) is arranged to find out about the information on sport performances of the person consuming the dose and the information on the person consuming the dose from the fitness device (402) used by the person, using at least one of the following methods:

via a telecommunications connection, magnetic card, smart card, printed code, and a data processing device utilising a short-range radio link.

Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrition dispenser (100) is arranged to deliver the information about the nutrients and/or medical substances in the dose personified for the person consuming the dose via short-range radio link (202) to the user'"'"'s mobile station (206), with the help of the smart card read/write equipment (208) to the user'"'"'s smart card (206), with the help of the magnetic card read/write equipment (210) to the user'"'"'s magnetic card (206), and via the telecommunications connection (306, 710) to the database (304) of the information system (302, 323).

13. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that the nutrition dispenser (100) comprises at least part of the information unit (303) and/or database arrangement (304, 500) of the information system (302).

14. Nutrition dispenser according to claim 1, characterised in that defining the nutrients and/or medical substances to be included in the dose intended for the person consuming the dose is performed at least partly with the help of neurofuzzy systems.

System (700) for producing a dose of nutrition and/or medication, characterised in that the system (700) is provided with the database arrangement (304, 500), the system comprises a user interface for feeding at least the information related to the user, rooms (108) for storing at least two nutrients and/or medical substances, and that the system is arranged to define a dose of nutrition and/or medication optimal for the person consuming the dose, and the ingredients of the dose, amounts and proportions of the ingredients at least partly with the help of the said database arrangement (304, 500), and that the arrangement comprises the equipment (110) for measuring out the defined nutrients and/or medical substances.

Method (800) for producing a dose of nutrition and/or medication with the help of the nutrition dispenser (100), characterised in that in the method at least information related to the user is fed (802) to the nutrition dispenser (100), the optimal dose of nutrition and/or medication intended for the person consuming the dose, the ingredients and amounts and proportions of the substances are defined (806) at least partly with the help of the database arrangement (304, 500), and the defined nutrients and/or medical substances are measured out (812).
