Abstract

A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus for Total Body Exercise, Stretching, Yoga, Lumbar and Pelvic Traction, Gymnastics, Inversion Therapy, Spinal Manipulation and Weightless Coupling consisting of an adjustable stand, a swivel hook, springs, a support bar, webbing with multiple loops, top, middle and bottom hand and foot grips, with optional foot “booty”.

Claims

1. An exercising device consisting of a Fabric Sling 22, a Support Stand 20, Fabric Hand Holds 24, and Foot Stirrups 26 with flexible attachment means, Springs 34, and a Swivel Hook 38.

1a. An exercising device consisting of a Fabric Sling 22, a Support Stand 20, Fabric Hand Holds 24, Foot Stirrups 26, Springs 34, Swivel Hook 38, Ball Bearing Swivel Unit (FIG. 26).

2. The Support Stand 20 of claim 1 wherein said Support Stand 20 uses a plurality of telescoping legs

3. A Multi-Function Swing consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Fabric Sling 22 uses a Full Length Cushion 22A.

4. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Fabric Foot Stirrups 26 are replaced by a Foot Booty.

5. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Fabric Sling 22 is made of rip-stop Nylon.

6. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Frame 20 is made of Plastic.

7. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Frame 20 is made without Adjuster 44.

8. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas durable Bunji Cords are substituted for Springs 34.

9. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas more or fewer Springs 34 may be added to compensate for various users weight loads.

10. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas electric powered motor may be substituted for all passive suspension components to allow for gentle passive swinging or bouncing.

11. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas height of fabric swing and handles may be mechanically controlled by a pulley device to eliminate need for Webbing Looped Harness 28.

12. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas Fabric Sling 22 is made of cotton.

13. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas a total of six handles and foot stirrups can be used in lieu of the use of pull up bar or looped webbing height adjuster.

14. A Multi-Function Swing Apparatus consisting of all elements of claim 1 whereas device uses 2 additional upper fabric arm member w/hand grips in lieu of support bar 30 for use with optional alternate 2 point suspension mechanism of FIG. 9
