Abstract

A communication terminal apparatus includes a situation change detecting unit that detects a change in external situation and transmits an external situation change detection signal, and a control unit that receives the external situation change detection signal, thereby reads out a predetermined function and/or setting stored in a storing unit, and changes the functions and/or setting.

Claims

1. A communication terminal apparatus comprising:

a situation change detecting unit that detects a change in external situation and transmits an external situation change detection signal; and

a control unit that receives the external situation change detection signal, thereby reads out a predetermined function and/or setting stored in a storing unit, and changes the functions and/or setting.

2. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a time zone change detecting section that detects switching of time zones, and

when a time zone change detection signal is received from the time zone change detecting section, the control unit reads out a time-dedicated function and/or setting of a first situation from the storing unit and changes to a time-dedicated function and/or setting of a second situation.

3. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a body condition change detecting section that detects a change in body condition according to a recovery degree of a body after exercise, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to a body condition change detection signal from the body condition change detecting section.

4. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a brightness situation change detecting section that detects external brightness, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to a brightness situation change detection signal from the brightness situation change detecting section.

5. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a position change detecting section that acquires current location information and detects changes in place, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to a position change detection signal from the position change detecting section.

6. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a gravity situation change detecting section that detects a change in gravity situation acting on the communication terminal apparatus, and

the control unit changes the functions and/or setting according to a gravity situation change detection signal from the gravity situation change detecting section.

7. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the communication terminal apparatus is a folding type communication terminal apparatus,

the situation change detecting unit is an opening and closing situation change detecting section that detects whether or not an opening and closing degree of the folding type communication terminal apparatus has changed over a predetermined value, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to an opening and closing situation change detection signal from the opening and closing situation change detecting section.

8. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is an incoming call and reception detecting section that detects an incoming call or reception of electronic mail to the communication terminal apparatus, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to an incoming call and reception detection signal from the incoming call and reception detecting section.

9. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is a registration time detecting section that detects current time and determines whether or not the current time is previously registered time, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to a registration time detection signal from the registration time detecting section.

10. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the situation change detecting unit is an area change detecting section that acquires current location information and determines whether or not a current location is in a previously registered area, and

the control unit changes the function and/or setting according to an area change detection signal from the area change detecting section.

11. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the setting is at least one of an account name, a telephone number, an electronic mail address, incoming call volume, incoming call sound, wallpaper, and a color pattern.

12. The communication terminal apparatus according to claim 1,

wherein the communication terminal apparatus is a cellular phone device.

13. A method of changing functions and/or setting of a communication terminal apparatus, comprising:

detecting a change in external situation and transmitting an external situation change detection signal; and

receiving the external situation change detection signal, thereby reading out a predetermined function and/or setting stored in a storing unit, and changing the function and/or setting.

14. A storage medium readable by a computer, the storage medium storing a program of instructions executable by the computer to perform a function for changing functions and/or setting of a communication terminal apparatus, the function comprising the steps of:

detecting a change in external situation and transmitting an external situation change detection signal; and

receiving the external situation change detection signal, thereby reading out a predetermined function and/or setting stored in a storing unit, and changing the function and/or setting.
