Abstract

A method for locking a control device, the control device to be wakened by a wake-up signal, in which the wake-up signal is blocked by an excess-temperature circuit.

Claims

1. A method for locking a control device to be wakened by a wake-up signal, the method comprising:

blocking the wake-up signal by an excess-temperature circuit.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein a blocking of the wake-up signal is triggered by software, and the wake-up signal is blocked on a hardware side.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the wake-up signal is blocked above a critical temperature.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein a temperature of the control device is taken into account.

5. The method according to claim 1, wherein a blocking of the wake-up signal triggered by the excess-temperature circuit is reset in a start of the control device initiated by a starting device.

6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the wake-up signal provided for the control device is blocked by a transistor of the excess-temperature circuit in that the transistor diverts the wake-up signal.

7. The method according to claim 6, further comprising switching the transistor provided for diverting the wake-up signal by a bistable element of the excess-temperature circuit.

8. The method according to claim 1, further comprising blocking a signal path via which the wake-up signal is to be transmitted to the control device.

9. An excess-temperature circuit for a control device, comprising:

an arrangement for blocking a wake-up signal by which the control device is to be awakened, locking the control device.

10. The excess-temperature circuit according to claim 9, wherein the circuit has a temperature profile that corresponds to at least a maximum temperature profile of the control device.

11. The excess-temperature circuit according to claim 9, further comprising a transistor and a bistable element, the bistable element changing its states as a function of a temperature value, switching the transistor.

12. A computer program embodied on a computer-readable medium having program code means which when executed by a processor performs the following method for locking a control device to be wakened by a wake-up signal:

blocking the wake-up signal by an excess-temperature circuit.

13. A computer program product having program code means stored on a computer-readable data carrier which when executed by a processor performs the following method for locking a control device to be wakened by a wake-up signal:

blocking the wake-up signal by an excess-temperature circuit.
