Abstract

The local delivery of therapeutic agents directly into the lungs provides a methodology for safely and effectively treating various disease conditions.

Claims

1. A method for the delivery of a therapeutic agent into lung alveolar tissue comprising:

(a) creating one or more localized pleurodeses; and

(b) introducing a therapeutic agent delivery system through the one or more localized pleurodeses.
