Abstract

An organoluminescent compound. The compound has formula (I)
wherein X₁ and X₂ independently represent C_10-25 aryl, heteroaryl, stilbenyl, silylaryl, or arylsilyl; n represents an integer of 0 to 2; L represents aryl or heteroaryl; and A₁, A₂, and A₃ independently represent aryl or heteroaryl. The invention also provides an organic light-emitting diode and a display utilizing the organoluminescent compound.

13. An organic light-emitting diode, comprising:

a cathode and an anode; and

an emitting layer disposed between the cathode and anode, comprising a compound as claimed in claim 1.

14. The organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13, further comprising an electron transport layer disposed between the cathode and the emitting layer.

15. The organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13, further comprising an electron injection layer disposed between the cathode and the emitting layer.

16. The organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13, further comprising a hole transport layer disposed between the anode and the emitting layer.

17. The organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13, further comprising a hole injection layer disposed between the anode and the emitting layer.

18. The organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13, wherein the compound is a blue fluorescent compound.

19. A display, comprising:

an organic light-emitting diode as claimed in claim 13;

and

a drive circuit coupled to the organic light-emitting diode to drive the organic light-emitting diode.

20. The display as claimed in claim 19, wherein the drive circuit comprises a thin film transistor.
