Abstract

Certain aspects of this disclosure relate to obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device. At least one operational resource to perform a transformation of an audio information is estimated based at least in part on the obtaining the operational capacity. Certain aspects relate to providing a capability for sharing the audio information with at least one other shared audio device in a manner that allows the shared audio device to perform the transformation of the audio information.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device;

estimating at least one operational resource to perform a transformation of an audio information based at least in part on the obtaining the operational capacity; and

providing a capability for sharing the audio information with at least one other shared audio device in a manner that allows the shared audio device to perform the transformation of the audio information.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device comprises:

obtaining an energy level capacity of the shared audio device.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device comprises:

obtaining a battery life capacity of the shared audio device.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device comprises:

obtaining a processing power capacity of the shared audio device.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device comprises:

obtaining a storage memory capacity of the shared audio device.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtaining an operational capacity for a shared audio device comprises:

obtaining an available processing time capacity of the shared audio device.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the estimating at least one operational resource to perform a transformation comprises:

estimating the at least one operational resource to transform a characteristic of the audio information.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the providing a capability for sharing the audio information comprises:

transmitting the audio information at the shared audio device at least partially to the at least one other shared audio device.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the providing a capability for sharing the audio information comprises:

receiving the audio information at the shared audio device at least partially from the at least one other shared audio device.

10. A method, comprising:

processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device to at least partially derive at least some processed audio information, wherein the at least some audio information corresponds to, but has a different audio characteristic than, the at least some processed audio information; and

transmitting the at least some processed audio information from the shared audio device to effect sharing the at least some processed audio information.

11. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to alter a tonal range of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

12. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to alter a fidelity of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

13. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to change a bit rate of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

15. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to search for at least one improved noise level of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

16. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to reduce an interference of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

17. The method of claim 10, wherein the processing at least some audio information at least partially at a shared audio device further comprises:

processing to vary a data content of the at least some audio information at least partially at the shared audio device.

21. A method, comprising:

capturing at least some captured audio at least partially using a shared audio device; and

receiving user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with at least one other shared audio device.

22. The method of claim 21, wherein the capturing at least some captured audio at least partially using a shared audio device comprises:

recording the at least some captured audio at least partially using the shared audio device.

23. The method of claim 21, wherein the capturing at least some captured audio at least partially using a shared audio device comprises:

combining multiple streams of the at least some captured audio at least partially using the shared audio device.

25. The method of claim 21, wherein the receiving user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with at least one other shared audio device comprises:

receiving a menu-driven user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with the at least one other shared audio device.

26. The method of claim 21, wherein the receiving user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with at least one other shared audio device comprises:

receiving a computer-based user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with the at least one other shared audio device.

27. The method of claim 21, wherein the receiving user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with at least one other shared audio device comprises:

receiving a dedicated user-interface user input at the shared audio device to share the at least some captured audio with the at least one other shared audio device.

28. A method, comprising:

synchronizing an obtaining shared audio device relative to a sharing session in a manner that at least partially allows conveying between the obtaining shared audio device with at least another shared audio device at least some shared audio captured during the sharing session, wherein the synchronizing the obtaining shared audio device can allow the obtaining shared audio device to obtain at least some audio captured by the at least another shared audio device even at times of the sharing session when the obtaining shared audio device is not participating in the sharing session.

29. The method of claim 28, wherein the synchronizing an obtaining shared audio device relative to a sharing session further comprises:

synchronizing the obtaining shared audio device with the sharing session at least partially following the sharing session.

30. The method of claim 28, wherein the synchronizing an obtaining shared audio device relative to a sharing session further comprises:

synchronizing the obtaining shared audio device with the sharing session at least partially during the sharing session.

31. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

establishing a sharing region at least partially using the obtaining shared audio device.

32. The method of claim 28, further comprising:

mixing a first audio portion obtained at least partially from the obtaining shared audio device with a second audio portion.

33. An apparatus, comprising:

a shared audio device configurable to obtain an operational capacity;

the shared audio device configurable to estimate at least one operational resource to perform a transformation of an audio information based at least in part on the obtaining the operational capacity; and

the shared audio device configurable to provide a capability for sharing the audio information with at least one other shared audio device in a manner that allows transforming the audio information.

34. An apparatus, comprising:

at least one shared audio device configurable to at least partially process at least some audio information to at least partially derive at least some processed audio information, wherein the at least some audio information corresponds to, but has a different audio characteristic(s) than, the at least some processed audio information; and

the at least one shared audio device configurable to transmit the at least some processed audio information to effect sharing the at least some processed audio information with at least one other shared audio device.

35. An apparatus, comprising:

at least one shared audio device configurable to create a sharing region;

the at least one shared audio device configurable to locate itself in the sharing region; and

the at least one shared audio device configurable to select at least some shared audio information to share with at least one other shared audio device.

36. The apparatus of claim 35, wherein the at least one shared audio device configurable to locate itself in the sharing region further comprises:

the at least one shared audio device configurable to establish a network including the at least one shared audio device and the at least one other shared audio device.

37. The apparatus of claim 35, further comprising:

the at least one shared audio device configurable to establish a graphical user interface that can control transfer of audio between the at least one shared audio device and the at least one other shared audio device.

38. An apparatus, comprising:

at least one shared audio device configurable to capture audio; and

a sharing button associated with the at least one shared audio device, the sharing button, when actuated, can be operable to share at least some of the audio captured by the at least one shared audio device with at least one other shared audio device.

40. The apparatus of claim 38, wherein the at least one shared audio device configurable to capture audio comprises:

the at least one shared audio device that is configurable to combine multiple streams of audio.

41. The apparatus of claim 38, wherein the sharing button associated with the at least one shared audio device comprises:

a mechanical depressible sharing button.

42. The apparatus of claim 38, wherein the sharing button associated with the at least one shared audio device comprises:

a menu-driven sharing button.

43. The apparatus of claim 38, wherein the sharing button associated with the at least one shared audio device comprises:

a computer-based sharing button.

45. An apparatus, comprising:

an obtaining shared audio device configurable to synchronize itself relative to a sharing session to at least partially allow conveying between the obtaining shared audio device with at least another shared audio device at least some shared audio captured during the sharing session, wherein the obtaining shared audio device configurable to synchronize itself to the sharing session can allow itself to obtain at least some audio captured by the at least another shared audio device even at times of the sharing session when the obtaining shared audio device is not participating in the sharing session.

46. The apparatus of claim 45, wherein the obtaining shared audio device configurable to synchronize itself relative to a sharing session further comprises:

the obtaining shared audio device operable to synchronize itself with the sharing session at least partially following the sharing session.

47. The apparatus of claim 45, wherein the obtaining shared audio device configurable to synchronize itself relative to a sharing session further comprises:

the obtaining shared audio device operable to synchronize itself with the sharing session at least partially during the sharing session.

48. The apparatus of claim 45, further comprising:

the obtaining shared audio device configurable to at least partially establish a sharing region.

49. The apparatus of claim 45, further comprising:

the obtaining shared audio device configurable to at least partially mix a first audio portion obtained at least partially from the obtaining shared audio device with a second audio portion.
