Abstract

Apparatus, and an associated method, for a frame-formatted radio communication system. Coordination is provided between MAC and RLP layers of a sending station through use of apparatus embodied at the MAC layer of the sending station. Also, apparatus is provided at a receiving station to reduce the generation of RLP layer NAK during segmented RLP frame retransmissions.

Claims

1. A method for invoking user interface forms functionality on a computing device comprising:

receiving a data file comprising markup language data;

creating based on the data file a first object hierarchy comprising a plurality of objects, each corresponding to a user interface component;

identifying in the first object hierarchy a first object corresponding to a user interface form component;

creating a second object hierarchy comprising a second object having user interface forms functionality, said second object associated with said first object;

displaying on the computing device a user interface comprising a graphical representation of the first object; and

invoking the user interface forms functionality of the second object in relation to the graphical representation of the first object on the displayed user interface.
