- (a) a fluorochemical spacer oligomer comprising the oligomerization product of fluurochemical spacer monomers along or in combination with other polymeizable monomers in the presence of at least one functionalized chain transfer agent (b) a di-, tri-, or tetravalent isocyanate or combinations thereof, (c) optionally, at least one isocyanate-reactive group and/or blocking group, and, (d) optionally, at least one multi-functional chain extender.

The present invention relates to fluorochemical polyurethane compounds, a method for their preparation, a method of application, and compositions comprising that fluorochemical polyurethane compound. The compound and the composition comprising that compound are suitable to impart durable oil- and water-repellency to substrates.
