Resonator for medical device
First Claim
1. A resonator device, comprising:
- an induction coil;
a conductive member positioned adjacent the induction coil; and
a dielectric layer between the induction coil and the conductive member to form a capacitor structure, the dielectric layer having a dielectric constant that changes in a predetermined fashion between the induction coil and the conductive member to allow for a uniform current distribution in the resonator device.

Abstract
A resonator device including an induction coil, a conductive member positioned adjacent the induction coil, and a dielectric layer between at least a portion of the induction coil and the conductive member to form a capacitor structure. In one embodiment, the conductive member can be a stent. In an alterative embodiment, the conductive member can be a conductive film. In an additional embodiment, the dielectric layer can have a dielectric constant that changes in a predetermined fashion between at least a portion of the induction coil and the conductive member to allow for a uniform current distribution in the resonator device. The dielectric layer can also include a flexible elongate body.
