Abstract

On the basis of the known light fixture, it is the object of the present invention to provide a light fixture by using LED'"'"'s (light emitting diodes) as a light source, which largely prevents the structures of the individual light sources from melting and, by providing a compact style, offers the option of a simple assembly.

Claims

1. A light fixture (10), especially for fixing to a building or building surface (11), comprising a trough-shaped reflector (16) having an inside face with at least two side walls (18), in which a first side wall (18) is located opposite a second side wall (19) and with a light outlet (23) in which is provided a diffuser element (24), characterized in that at least the first side wall (18) and the second side wall (19) located opposite the first side wall have at least a section (18 and 19) aligned along a plane on which several LED'"'"'s (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d, 27e, 27f, 27g) are provided, the light fixture comprising LED'"'"'s of different colors, and the LED'"'"'s being positioned in such a way that the predominant portion of the light emitted by the LED (27a) that is provided on one side wall (18), reaches the diffuser element (24) only after reflection off another side wall (19).

2. A light fixture as defined in claim 1, wherein a printed-circuit board (25a) that carries several LED'"'"'s (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d, 27e, 27f, 27g) is fixed on an outside face (29) of the section (18).

3. A light fixture as defined in claim 2, wherein the printed-circuit board (25a) is fixed to the section (18) by means of screws and/or detents.

4. A light fixture as defined in claim 2 wherein the LED'"'"'s project from the printed-circuit board (25a) into the interior (J) of the reflector (16).

5. A light fixture as defined in claims 2 wherein openings are provided in the section (18 and 19).

6. A light fixture as defined in claim 5, wherein the LED'"'"'s at least in part project through the openings.

7. A light fixture as defined in claim 2 wherein a heat sink (26) is provided on an outside face (30) of the printed-circuit board (25a).

8. A light fixture as defined in claim 2 wherein at least one printed-circuit board (25a) is provided on which at least six LED'"'"'s (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d, 27e, 27f, 27g) are spaced apart from one another.

9. A light fixture as defined in claim 8, wherein at least one printed-circuit board (25a) is provided on which at least two red (27a, 27d), two blue (27c, 27f), and two green (27b, 27e) LED'"'"'s are spaced apart from one another.

10. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the reflector (16) has four side walls (18, 19, 20, 21).

11. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the reflector (16) has a floor (22).

12. A light fixture as defined in claim 10, wherein the first and the second side wall (18 and 19), especially the four side walls, extend along a plane.

13. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the reflector (16) consists of at least five components (18, 18, 20, 21, 22) that are interconnected.

14. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the LED'"'"'s are controllable for realizing a changeable mixing color of the light fixture individually or as a group.

15. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the trough-shaped reflector (16) flares toward the light output (23).

16. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the trough-shaped reflector (16) has a generally trapezoidal cross-section (FIG. 2).

17. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the reflector element has a generally triangular cross-section (FIG. 5).

18. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the reflector element has a generally rectangular cross-section (FIG. 6).

19. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein the light outlet (23) is generally rectangular.

20. A light fixture as defined in claim 1 wherein a second reflector element (31) is provided in the path of light behind the light outlet (23) of the reflector (16).

21. A light fixture as defined in claim 20, wherein the second reflector element (31) is designed in the form of a light diffuser, especially is curved.

22. A light fixture as defined in claim 20, wherein only a portion of the light passing through the diffuser element (24) impinges on the second reflector element (31).
