Abstract

A lighting system includes a first light source emitting first light rays; a second light source emitting second light rays, a first lens side which refracts the first and second light rays and collimates the refracted light rays; a second lens side which includes a plurality of first lenticules and refracts the first and second light rays; and a third lens side which includes a plurality of second lenticules and refracts the first and second light rays refracted by the second lens side.

Claims

1. A lighting system comprising:

a first light source emitting first light rays;

a second light source having a light emitting point partly displaced from the first light source and emitting second light rays whose wavelength differs from a wavelength of the first light rays;

a first lens side which refracts and collimates the first and second light rays;

a second lens side which includes a plurality of juxtaposed first lenticules and refracts the first and second light rays; and

a third lens side which includes a plurality of juxtaposed second lenticules and refracts the first and second light rays refracted by the second lens side,

wherein the second lenticules correspond to the first lenticules on the one-to-one basis;

the first lenticules collect the first and second light rays on the second lenticules; and

a part of a first illumination area of the first and second light rays refracted by one first lenticule and one second lenticule overlaps with a part of a second illumination area of the first and second light rays refracted by another first lenticule and another second lenticule.

2. The lighting system defined in claim 1, wherein the first light source is a semiconductor light emitting element:

and the second light source is a fluorescent object which extends over a first light emitting area of the semiconductor light emitting element, and emits fluorescent light in response to the first light ray.

3. The light system defined in claim 2, wherein the first lens side is placed to face with the semiconductor light emitting element, and is curved outward toward the semiconductor light emitting element.

4. The lighting system defined in claim 2, wherein the first lens side is placed to face with the semiconductor light emitting element, and is a Fresnel lens which is curved outward toward the semiconductor light emitting element.

5. The lighting system defined in claim 1, wherein the second lens side is opposite to the first lens sides, is placed between the first lens side and the third lens side, faces with the third lens side, and is curved outward toward the third lens side.

6. The lighting system defined in claim 1, wherein the third lens side is placed to face with the second lens side;

and the second lenticules are curved toward the third lens side.

7. The lighting system defined in claim 5, wherein the first lens side is a Fresnel lens;

and the second lens side is a fly-eye lens.

8. The lighting system defined in claim 6, wherein the first lens side is a Fresnel lens;

and the third lens side is as a fly-eye lens.

9. The lighting system defined in claim 2, wherein the semiconductor light emitting element emits the first light rays whose wavelength is equal to a wavelength of blue light rays.

10. The lighting system defined in claim 2, wherein the fluorescent object emits the second light rays which are yellow or whose wavelength is equal to a combination of wavelengths of yellow and red light rays.

17. The lighting system defined in claim 1, wherein the first lens side includes a refractive region where the first and second light rays are refracted and collimated, and a reflective region where the first and second light rays are reflected and collimated.

18. The lighting system defined in claim 17, wherein the refractive region of the first lens side is positioned at the center of the optical axis of the first and second light sources;

and the reflective region of total reflection type is positioned around the refractive region.

19. The lighting system defined in claim 17, wherein the first lens side is a Fresnel lens which includes, in the refractive part, a round part curved toward the first and second light sources;

a flat part intersecting with the optical axis;

the refractive part refracting the first and second light rays;

a first continuous prism in which stepped concentric circles and refractive parts refracting the first and second light rays are alternately arranged in a direction intersecting with the optical axis; and

a second continuous prism constituted by first and second light ray receiving parts, and first and second light rays reflecting parts which are alternately arranged in the direction intersecting with the optical axis.

The lighting system defined in claim 19, wherein in the first lens side, an apex of the refractive surface of the first continuous prism of the refractive region and the stepped concentric circle, and an apex of the incident surface and the reflective surface of the second continuous prism are present on the same plane.

The lighting system defined in claim 19, wherein in the first lens side, a lowest point of the refractive surface of the first continuous prism of the refractive region and the stepped concentric circle, and a lowest point of the incident surface and the reflective surface of the second continuous prism are present on the same plane.

22. The lighting system defined in claim 19, wherein apex angles formed by the incident sides and reflective surface of the first and second lens sides are the same.

11. A lighting system comprising:

a light emitting diode emitting blue light rays;

a fluorescent object receiving the blue light rays and emitting yellow light rays;

a Fresnel lens refracting and collimating the blue and yellow light rays;

a first fly-fly lens refracting the blue and yellow light rays passing through the Fresnel lens; and

a second fly-eye lens refracting the blue and yellow light rays passing through the first fly-eye lens.

12. The lighting system defined in claim 11, wherein a first lens includes the Fresnel lens and the first on opposite sides thereof;

and a second lens includes the second fly-eye lens on one side thereof.

13. The lighting system defined in claim 12, wherein the other side of the second lens is flat.

14. The lighting system defined in claim 13, wherein the flat side of the second lens is treated to diffuse light.

15. The lighting system defined in claim 11, further comprising:

a substrate mounting the light emitting diode at a center thereof;

a reflector placed around a periphery of the substrate and reflecting the blue light rays from the light emitting diode; and

a fluorescent object filled in a recess defined at the center of the substrate and the reflector, and housing the light emitting diode.

16. The lighting system defined in claim 15, wherein a plurality of lighting units constituted by the light emitting diodes, fluorescent objects, reflectors, first lenses and second lenses are integrated on the substrate and have a module structure.

23. The lighting system defined in claim 11, wherein the first and second fly-eye lens sides satisfy the following formula where “
