Abstract

According to the invention, an attachment receptacle (10) which can be fixed on a head covering, such as a helmet 5, of a user and has a clamping device is provided. The attachment receptacle 10 is fixed on the one hand by means of a fixing component, for example having hook-like retaining brackets 9a, 9b, on the back of a head covering and is connected via a clamping element, such as a tensioning strap 6, to the front or to a sighting device mounted on the front, such as a night vision device 2. The clamping element can preferably be clamped by means of the clamping device so that the attachment receptacle 10 is pressed firmly onto the head covering. The attachment receptacle 10 with the clamping device is formed in such a way that externally accessible components, such as a clamping lever 11 of the clamping device are integrated in the form of the receptacle, e.g. in the form of a housing 12 of the receptacle, in such a way that no projecting or protruding components can cause unintentional actuation of the clamping device. The attachment receptacle 10 is furthermore advantageously formed on the head covering so as to be adjustable in height.

Claims

1. A receptacle for attachments (10) for electrical and/or electronic connection, in particular by means of a cable (23), to a sighting device which can be fixed on a first side of a head covering, such as a helmet (5), in particular night vision device (2), the attachments being integrated or integratable electrical and/or electronic and mechanical components, the attachment receptacle (10) being capable of being fixed on a second side of the head covering, which is substantially opposite the first side, by means of at least one fixing component (9) wherein the attachment receptacle (10) has a clamping device for producing an indirect or direct retaining connection—

via a clamping element, such as a tensioning strap (6)—

to the first side and/or to the sighting device.

2. The receptacle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the clamping device has at least one fixing element, such as a catch (29), for the clamping element, the fixing element being capable of being brought at least into

a first position for fixing the clamping element and

a second position for releasing the clamping element, the clamping element being displaceable in particular within the attachment receptacle (10).

3. The receptacle as claimed in claim 2, wherein the clamping device has an adjusting element, such as a clamping lever (11), for the fixing element.

4. The receptacle as claimed in claim 3, wherein the attachment receptacle (10) has bearings (41) for rotatable mounting about an axis of rotation of the adjusting element by means of rotary bearing elements (40).

The receptacle as claimed in claim 4, wherein the rotary bearing elements (40) are fixed eccentrically relative to the axis of rotation, for example by means of pegs (42) to force transmission elements, such as connecting rods (39) on which furthermore the at least one fixing element is rotatably mounted by means of axial elements (43), so that a rotational movement of the adjusting element about the axis of rotation results in a displacement of the fixing element.

6. The receptacle as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein the clamping element has a cable duct (38) for the cable (23).

The receptacle as claimed in either of claims 5 and 6, wherein the attachment receptacle (10) has guides (37) for the clamping element, the guides (37) comprising connecting link-like guide elements (31) for cooperation with guide surfaces (45) by means of which the displacement of the fixing element is controlled.

8. The receptacle as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein

the clamping element has, in the clamping region (6b′

) coordinated with the attachment receptacle (10), locking elements, for example in the form of tooth systems (30a, 30b), and

the fixing element has at least one snap-in element, such as a catch knife (44a, 44b), for cooperation with the locking elements, with the result that attachment receptacle (10) and clamping element can be positioned differently relative to one another along the clamping region (6b′

).

The receptacle as claimed in any of the preceding claims, comprising at least one connecting element (25) for the fixing component, connecting element (25) and fixing component (9) being capable of being positioned differently relative to one another via positioning elements (26, 27) so that the arrangement of the attachment receptacle (10)—

with respect to the position of use of the head covering—

is adjustable in height.

10. A receptacle for attachments (10) for electrical and/or electronic connection in particular by means of a cable (23), to a sighting device which can be fixed on a first side of a head covering, such as a helmet (5), in particular night vision device (2), the attachments being integrated or integratable electrical and/or electronic and mechanical components, comprising at least one fixing component (9) for fixing the attachment receptacle (10) to a second side of the head covering which is substantially opposite the first side, the attachment receptacle (10) having at least one connecting element (25), for the fixing component (9), wherein connecting element (25) and fixing component (9) can be positioned differently relative to one another by means of positioning elements (26, 27) so that the arrangement of the attachment receptacle (10)—

with respect to the position of use—

is adjustable in height.

11. The receptacle as claimed in claim 9 or 10, wherein the positioning elements (26, 27) are provided on the connecting element (25) and/or on the fixing component (9).

12. The receptacle as claimed in any of claims 9 to 11, wherein the fixing component (9) has slot elements (27) as positioning elements and the connecting element (25) has, as positioning elements, hook elements (26) which can engage the slot elements (27).

13. The receptacle as claimed in any of claims 10 to 12, wherein the attachment receptacle (10) has a clamping device for producing an indirect or direct retaining connection—

via a clamping element, such as a tensioning strap (6) to the first side and/or to the sighting device, in particular the clamping device having at least one fixing element, such as a catch (29) for the clamping element, the fixing element being capable of being brought at least into

a first position for fixing the clamping element and

a second position for releasing the clamping element, the clamping element being displaceable in particular within the attachment receptacle (10).
