Abstract

A method, system, and apparatus are disclosed wherein an RFID transponder response signal is coupled with a data file as an identifier. The RFID transponder response signal is used in its raw, or a digitized version of its raw, state.

Claims

1. A computer file comprising:

an RFID tag signature; and

a data file.

2. The computer file of claim 1, wherein said data file comprises at least one of the following:

an office automation related file, an e-commerce related file, or a media related file.

3. The computer file of claim 1 further comprising a codec.

4. The computer file of claim 1 further comprising encryption.

5. The computer file of claim 1 further comprising sale data.

6. The computer file of claim 1 further comprising purchase data.

7. A method comprising:

operationally coupling an RFID tag response signal and a data file; and

utilizing said operationally coupled RFID tag response signal and said data file to query a database.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein said data file comprises at least one of the following:

an office automation related file, an e-commerce related file, or a media related file.

9. The method of claim 7, further comprising at least one of the following:

a codec or encryption

10. An electronic device comprising:

an RFID signature capture assembly; and

an RFID signature play assembly.

11. The electronic device of claim 10 further comprising:

circuitry adapted to receive digital data.

12. The electronic device of claim 10 wherein:

said RFID signature play assembly is capable of transmitting at a frequency including and between 80-750 kHz.

13. The electronic device of claim 10 wherein:

said RFID signature play assembly is capable of transmitting at a frequency including and between 10-15 MHz.

14. The electronic device of claim 10 wherein:

said RFID signature play assembly is capable of transmitting at a frequency including and between 750-985 MHz.

15. The electronic device of claim 10 wherein:

said RFID signature play assembly is capable of transmitting at a frequency including and between 1.0-9.8 GHz.

16. An apparatus comprising:

a device, said device capable of receiving and transmitting an RFID tag signature; and

said device capable of receiving and a data package to be received by said device wherein said data package comprises a data file selected from the list comprising an office automation related file, e-commerce related file, and media related file.

17. An apparatus comprising:

a device, said device adapted to receiving and transmitting an RFID signature.

18. The apparatus of claim 17, further adapted to store an RFID signature.

19. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein said transmitting an RFID signature is performed wirelessly.

20. The apparatus of claim 17, further adapted to communicate a data file.

21. A system comprising:

an RFID tag signature device; and

a repeater device.

22. The system of claim 21, further comprising:

a repeater memory.

23. The system of claim 21, wherein said repeater is coupled to a processor.

24. The system of claim 23, wherein said processor is coupled to a computing platform.

25. The system of claim 21 wherein said repeater is adapted to communicate wirelessly.

26. The system of claim 21 wherein said repeater is adapted to communicate via wire.

27. The system of claim 21 further adapted to communicate a data file.

28. The system of claim 21, further comprising:

an RFID tag signature digitizer.

29. A method comprising:

identifying an RFID tagged item without decoding an RFID tag signature.

30. The method of claim 29, wherein said identifying an RFID tagged item comprises identifying said item via an RFID tag signature.

31. The method of claim 30, wherein said identifying an RFID tag signature comprises sending an RFID tag signature to a computing platform where it is matched to an identifier.

32. The method of claim 30, wherein said RFID tag signature comprises a digitized RFID tag signature.

33. The method of claim 29, and further comprising:

locating an RFID tagged item.

34. An article comprising:

a computing platform;

a storage medium; and

said storage medium having stored thereon instructions that, if executed, result in identifying an RFID tagged item without decoding an RFID tag signature.

35. The article of claim 34, further comprising:

a repeater device.

36. The article of claim 35, wherein said repeater device comprises an analog device.

37. The article of claim 35, wherein said repeater device is capable of wireless communication.

38. The article of claim 35, further comprising:

a display.

39. An apparatus comprising:

means for interrogating an RFID tag signature device; and

means for transmitting a RFID tag signature.

40. The apparatus of claim 39, further comprising:

means for receiving a data file.

41. The apparatus of claim 39, further comprising:

means for transmitting a data file.
