Abstract

A method for interfacing with a memory card is provided. In this method, a selection of a program instruction is provided and the program instruction associated with the selection is read from the memory card. The program instruction thereafter is executed. Systems and computing devices for interfacing with the memory card also are described.

Claims

1. A method for interfacing with a memory card, comprising:

providing a selection of a program instruction;

reading the program instruction associated with the selection from the memory card; and

executing the program instruction.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

reading a program instruction identifier associated with the program instruction from the memory card; and

displaying the program instruction identifier in a graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface is configured to provide access to the program instruction.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

reading a program instruction identifier associated with the program instruction from the memory card; and

providing the program instruction identifier in a graphical user interface, wherein the program instruction identifier is configured to be selected from the graphical user interface and a selection of the program instruction identifier being configured to provide the selection of the program instruction.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a response associated with the executing the program instruction;

reading an expected response associated with the program instruction from the memory card; and

comparing the response with the expected response.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the program instruction is stored in a data structure, the data structure being stored in the memory card.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the data structure comprises a program instruction identifier associated with the program instruction.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein the data structure comprises an expected response associated with the program instruction.

8. A computer program product embodied in a computer readable medium and comprising computer instructions for:

providing a selection of a plurality of scripts, the plurality of scripts comprising a first script and a second script;

reading the plurality of scripts and an expected response associated with the first script from a memory card;

executing the first script;

receiving a response after the executing the first script;

comparing the response with the expected response; and

executing the second script.

9. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the second script is executed if the response matches the expected response.

10. The computer program product of claim 8, further comprising computer instructions for:

reading a program instruction identifier associated with the plurality of scripts from the memory card; and

providing the program instruction identifier in a menu for selection, wherein a selection of the program instruction identifier being configured to provide the selection of the plurality of scripts.

11. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the plurality of scripts are stored in a table, the table being stored in the memory card.

12. A method for interfacing with a memory card, comprising:

reading a program instruction identifier from the memory card;

communicating the program instruction identifier to an operating system;

receiving a selection of the program instruction identifier from the operating system;

reading the program instruction and an expected response associated with the selection of the program instruction identifier from the memory card;

executing the program instruction;

receiving a response after the executing the program instruction; and

comparing the response with the expected response.

13. The method of claim 12, further comprising displaying the program instruction identifier in a graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface is configured to provide access to the program instruction.

14. The method of claim 12, further comprising providing the program instruction identifier in a graphical user interface, wherein the program instruction identifier is configured to be selected from the graphical user interface.

15. The method of claim 12, wherein the graphical user interface is a menu.

16. The method of claim 12, wherein the program instruction is a script.
