Abstract

A matching network system including communication devices, servers and software which enables the provisioning of services and execution of transactions based on a plurality of private and public personality profiles and behavior models of the users, of the communication devices, of the products/services and of the servers; in combination with the software resident at the communication device level and or the local/network server level. Matching and searching processes based on a plurality of personality profiles wherein the information, communication and transactions are enabled to be matched with the user, the communication device and or the servers. The communication device is a stationary device or a mobile device, such as a portable computing device, wireless telephone, cellular telephone, personal digital assistant, or a multifunction communication, computing and control device.

Claims

1. A matching network system comprising:

communication devices,

local and or network servers,

means for communication by wired or wireless methods

means for communication by stationary and or mobile devices,

means for communication between the communication devices and the local and or network servers,

means for an individual communication device user to maintain a plurality of personality profiles comprising public personality profiles and private personality profiles, states and behavior models,

means for forming one or more groups comprising of individuals based on individual personality profiles

means for the group to maintain a plurality of personality profiles, states and behavior models,

means for communication between individuals based on selected personality profiles,

means for communication between the individuals and groups based on personality profiles,

means for information acquirement based on personality profiles,

means for products and services to be characterized by a plurality of personality profiles, comprising product personality profiles, service personality profiles, states and behavior models,

means for matching product personality profiles with individual personality profiles, and for matching service personality profiles with individual personality profiles, wherein individuals comprise consumers,

means for configuration and selection of products by product personality profiles and services by service personality profiles,

means for selection of at least one of products and services and for commerce transactions comprising purchasing at least one of products and services,

means for transactions based on at least one of individual and group personality profiles, wherein transactions comprise commerce transactions.

11. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising:

means for the user to create questions in one or more categories,

means for maintaining said questions in a database,

means for answering said questions and maintaining the answers in the database,

means for associating the questions and the answers,

means for the user to assign weights to the question, answer and or question-answer pairs,

means for using the questions and the answers to generate one or more weighted private and public personality profiles for the user,

means for the user to be characterized by one or more weighted private and public personality profiles,

means for maintaining the private and public personality profiles in the database and in lookup tables,

means for associating the personality profiles with one or more behavior models of the user.

12. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising

means for a user to query another user with questions in one or more categories

means for each user to associate the questions of one user with the answers of the other user,

means for assigning weights to the question answer pairs,

means for maintaining said question and answers in a database and lookup tables,

means for each user to define rule sets comprising at least one rule for each personality profile,

means for enabling the personality of profile of the user to be checked to conform to the rules,

means for ensuring that the interactions between the users conform to the rules set by each user,

means for developing and enabling the behavior model for each user,

means for enabling interaction between users utilizing the user selected personality profiles.

13. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising:

means for characterizing a user with a plurality of private and public personality profiles,

means for the user to select from a plurality of private and public personality profiles for one or more types of communication,

means for the utilization of said personality profiles for communication between one or more users, said users having matched or unmatched personality profiles.

14. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising

means for associating a personality TAG with at least one personality profile,

means for associating a plurality of states with the personality profile,

means for holding a desired state for a finite period of time

means for altering the state and holding a different state,

means for associating a state TAG with at least one state, comprising a state of a user, a state of a website, a state of a web page, a state of a product, and a state of a service.

15. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising

means for the personality profile to be constructed/deconstructed into a plurality of personality profile components,

means for maintaining said personality profile components on the communication device, the local server and or the network servers,

means for recompiling the personality profile dynamically for use on the communication device,

means for encrypting the personality profile components and the personality profile, means for selecting and using the personality profile in communication and transactions.

17. A matching network system of claim 1 and 2 comprising

means for communication between one or more users,

means for discovery of the users by direct query method and or communication device profile method,

means for negotiation of mutual relationship using the selected personality profile,

means for negotiation of the relationship maintaining transparency or anonymity by the escrow server means.

18. A matching network system of claim 1 and 2 comprising,

means for wired or wireless communication via communication device and network server means,

means for creating and forming one or more private and public groups consisting of one or more users,

means for enabling the group to be moderated or un-moderated,

means for establishing one or more private and public personality profiles for the group,

means for defining rules for the group and associating the rules with the rules processor,

means for developing the behavior model for the group by the match engine and server means,

means for communication and negotiation with users desiring a relationship with the group,

means for enabling the negotiation through the moderator for moderated groups,

means for polling of the members for moderated and un-moderated groups,

means for tracking and informing the members of the polling results,

means for discovery and matching the personality profile of the potential member,

means for admission and denial of admission notification,

means for blocking non members,

means for termination of members.

19. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising,

means for the individual to form a personal matching network consisting of a plurality of other individuals of same or different personality profiles,

means for creating a personal matching network consisting of the group of matched individuals and the group of unmatched individuals,

means for inviting other individuals to join the user'"'"'s personal matching network,

means for negotiation of admission and denial of admission,

means for forming subnets consisting of one or more individuals for specific purposes,

means for inclusion of one or more groups that the user is a member of in the personal matching network of the user,

means for setting permissions to enable or disable relationship mining by other individuals or groups,

means for masking the users membership in the groups or other personal matching networks,

means for managing the personal matching network by means of the software resident on the communication device itself and or the local or network servers.

20. A matching network system of claim 1 comprising,

means for establishing groups with personality profiles and behavior models,

means for establishing and implementing the rules via the rules processor,

means for negotiation between two or more groups to establish a group to group relationship,

means for matching of the groups and collaboration,

means for managing the groups by means of the communication device itself and or the local or network server and the management software resident on them.

21. A matching network system of claim 1 further comprising

means for forming super groups consisting of one or more groups and individuals,

means for defining the super group personality profiles,

means for negotiation with a plurality of groups to join the super group,

means for administering the super group,

means for utilizing the communication device and or the local or network servers and the software resident on them,

means for mining relationships of groups and members based on user defined permissions.

2. A matching network system comprising

communication devices,

local or network servers,

means for wired or wireless communication,

means for maintaining a plurality of private/public personality profiles of the user on the communication device and or on the servers,

means for maintaining a plurality of device profiles and User IDs on the communication device and or on the servers,

means for selecting and associating said personality profiles, device profiles and user IDs,

means for information acquisition,

means for communication, and

means for executing transactions.

3. A matching network system of claim 2 comprising

means for signaling between the communication devices,

means for signaling using one or more communication protocols

means for mutual discovery of the communication devices.

4. A matching network system of claim 2 comprising

means for one or more input and output communication channels,

means for signaling between devices on one or more input/output channels,

means for associating one or more communication channels with the user personality profiles,

means for communication on one or more channels with the selected user personality profiles.

5. A matching network system of claim 2 comprising

means for configuring the communication device by device level and or server level software,

means for configuring one or more communication channels by device level and or server level software,

means for communication using a plurality of communication protocols,

means for communication by the user with a plurality of private and public personality profiles.

6. A matching network system of claim 2 comprising

means for characterizing the computers, intelligent appliances, local or network servers with a plurality of personality profiles,

means for matching of the personality profiles of the user/communication device with the personality profiles of computers, intelligent appliances and the servers,

means for matching of the personality profiles between the computers, intelligent appliances and servers,

means for holding the state of the selected personality profile of the user, of the communication device, of the intelligent appliance, of computers and the servers.

7. A matching network system comprising

means for websites and web pages to maintain a plurality of personality profiles and states,

means for behavior modeling of websites and web pages,

means for websites and web pages to recognize and respond to the personality profiles of the user,

means for matching the personality profile of the user and the website,

means for altering the look, feel and functionality of the website and web pages to conform to the user'"'"'s personality profile,

means for holding the state of the website and responding to the user personality profile,

means for delivering information, content and transactions that matches the user'"'"'s personality profile.

8. A matching network system comprising

means for configuring a plurality of robots,

means for launching the robots instantaneously or in a time released manner,

means for defining the mission of the robot,

means for defining the robots with a personality profile tag and states,

means for searching or matching based on personality profiles,

means for acquiring information by search and match processes.

9. A matching network system comprising

at least one communication device,

servers comprising local and network servers,

at least one of wired and wireless communication means,

means for products and services to be characterized by a plurality of personality profiles, comprising product personality profiles, service personality profiles, states and behavior models,

means for matching product personality profiles with user personality profiles, and for matching service personality profiles with user personality profiles, wherein users comprise consumers,

means for configuration and selection of products by product personality profiles and services by service personality profiles,

means for selection of at least one of products and services and for commerce transactions comprising purchasing at least one of products and services.

10. A matching network system of claim 9 comprising

means for configuring products and services with RF tags,

means for coding the RF tags with the product personality profiles and the service personality profiles,

means for communicating with the RF tag by means of the communication device,

means for selection of at least one of a product and a service by means of the communication device,

means for conducting a commerce transaction by means of the communication device.

16. A matching network system comprising

communication device means,

local server means,

network server means comprising of one or more of the network server, the escrow server, the matching server, website server and or other servers,

means for the maintaining on the communication device and or the servers the private/public personality profiles and behavior models of the user,

means for characterizing the communication device with a plurality of device specific private and public personality profiles,

means for matching of a plurality of users by communication device profile, user ID and or user personality profiles or a combination thereof,

means for maintaining the match engine on the communication device and or other servers,

means for matching by the match engine based on user defined/selected rules and algorithms,

means for matching on the communication device itself and or in association with match engines on the local server or the network servers.

22. A matching network system comprising

a communication device(s),

local or network servers located on the intranet or the Internet,

means for wired or wireless communication,

means for enabling a plurality of device profiles on the communication device,

means for the selection of the device profiles,

means for a plurality of device IDs and the selection of the device IDs by the user,

means for a plurality of user IDs and the selection of user IDs,

means for a plurality of user profiles and the selection of user profiles,

means for associating and selecting the device profile, the device ID, the user ID and the user profile for specific communication,

means for matching two or more communication devices,

means for matching communication devices and servers,

means for matching one or more servers and computers,

means for matching the combination of communication devices, computers, servers and intelligent appliances,

means for managing the communication with other communication devices and servers via the processing capabilities of the communication device by itself and or the network severs.

23. A matching network system of claim 22 comprising

a communication device,

means for wired or wireless communication on one or more channels of the communication device,

means for said wired or wireless communication to be enabled in one or more communication protocols,

means for matching the communication protocols on one or more channels between communication devices, servers, computers and the combinations thereof.
