Abstract

The invention presented herein consists of systems and methods of secure storage for sensitive and confidential data, such as personal identity data, along with methods of securely accessing that data, and transferring information from that data, as necessary.

Claims

1. A system for secure storage of personal and identity information, comprising:

a) a secure server containing digital copies of said information;

b) a secure communications system to provide access to said information; and

c) a secure transmission system to send copies of said information to a user upon request.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein said secure transmission system is capable of transmission via one or more of:

facsimile, SMS, email, broadband wireless, and short-range wireless.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein said secure communications system is based on one or more of:

one-time password (OTP) tokens, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital certificates, event-based dual OTP encryption and biometrics.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein said secure communications system enables user access via a mobile device.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein said secure communications system enables offline user access via a user-controlled device.

6. The system of claim 4, wherein said secure communications system enables the user to authorize access to a device controlled by a third party from said mobile device.

7. A system for secure storage of personal and identity information on a mobile device, comprising:

a) a secure storage space on said mobile device containing digital copies of said information;

b) a secure interface to provide access to said information; and

c) a communications mechanism to display and transmit said information.

The system of claim 7, further including a second system for secure storage of personal and identity information, said second system including a secure server for storage of digital copies of said information and a secure communications system to enable access to said second system from said mobile device.

9. The system of claim 8, further including a contextual interface on said mobile device to enable simultaneous access to said first system and said second system to retrieve requested information from both systems.

10. The system of claim 8, further including an automated system of synchronization of information between said first system and said second system

11. The system of claim 8, wherein said first system and said second system are automatically contracted to retrieve required information upon a user-initiated transaction.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes a driver'"'"'s license on said first system and a vehicle insurance certificate on said second system.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes a health card on said first system and user medical records on said second system.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes a bank card on said first system and investment records on said second system.

15. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes personal memberships, rewards programs and loyalty programs.

16. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes access information for secure buildings, including one or more of:

photo ID, RFID, and biometric ID.

17. The system of claim 8, wherein said information include tickets for access to events and venues.

18. The system of claim 8, wherein said information includes digitally signed permissions for access to secure environments.
