Abstract

A method of displaying a browser including a text field and a terminal for implementing the same are discussed. According to an embodiment, the method includes displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields, selecting a specific text field from the at least one or more text fields, and enlarging the selected text field. If a terminal user selects a specific text field, the selected text field is enlarged or a text field input window is generated. Accordingly, the present invention facilitates the terminal user to input prescribed information to the selected text field.

Claims

1. A display method in a terminal, comprising:

displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields;

selecting a specific text field from the at least one or more text fields; and

enlarging the selected text field.

2. The display method of claim 1, further comprising:

when a text input via the selected text field is completed, restoring a size of the enlarged text field into an original size of the selected text field.

3. The display method of claim 1, the enlarging comprising enlarging the selected text field into a size set by a user.

4. The display method of claim 1, wherein the selected text field comprises one selected from the group comprising a URL field, an ID/Password field, and a keyword field.

5. The display method of claim 1, wherein when the specific text field is selected, the selected text field is automatically enlarged.

6. The display method of claim 1, wherein when the specific text field is selected and a text is inputted to the selected text field, the selected text field is automatically enlarged.

7. A display method in a terminal, comprising:

displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields;

selecting a specific text field from the at least one or more text fields; and

generating a text field input window for the selected text field.

8. The display method of claim 7, further comprising:

when a text is inputted via the text field input window, inputting the inputted text to the text field selected from the browser.

9. The display method of claim 8, further comprising:

when a text input via the text field input window is completed, closing the text field input window.

10. The display method of claim 7, the generating comprising generating the text field input window by a size previously set by a user.

11. The display method of claim 7, wherein the selected text field comprises one selected from the group comprising a URL field, an ID/Password field, and a keyword field.

12. The display method of claim 7, wherein the text field input window is popped up.

13. The display method of claim 7, wherein when the text field is selected, the text field input window is automatically generated.

14. The display method of claim 7, wherein when the text field is selected and a text is inputted to the selected text field, the text field input window is automatically generated.

15. A terminal comprising:

an input unit to receive a user command;

a display unit to display a browser including at least one or more text fields; and

a control unit configured to, when a specific one of the at least one or more text fields is selected via the input unit, enlarge the selected text field.

16. The terminal of claim 15, wherein when a text input via the selected text field is completed, the control unit restores a size of the enlarged text field into an original size of the selected text field.

17. The terminal of claim 15, wherein the control unit enlarges the selected text field into a size previously set by a user.

18. A terminal comprising:

an input unit to receive a user command;

a display unit to display a browser including at least one or more text fields; and

a control unit configured to, when a specific one of the at least one or more text fields is selected via the input unit, generate a text field input window.

19. The terminal of claim 18, wherein when a text is inputted via the text field input window, the control unit inputs the inputted text into the text field selected from the browser.

20. The terminal of claim 18 wherein when a text input via the text field input window is completed, the control unit closes the text field input window.

21. A display method for a mobile terminal, comprising:

displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields;

selecting one text field from the at least one or more text fields; and

enlarging the selected text field and displaying a keypad on a screen of the mobile terminal, in response to the selection.

22. The display method of claim 21, wherein the enlarging step and the displaying step are simultaneously performed.

23. A display method for a mobile terminal, comprising:

displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields;

selecting a specific text field from the at least one or more text fields;

displaying an input area in addition to the selected text field on a screen of the mobile terminal, in response to the selection of the specific text field; and

displaying a user'"'"'s input on the input area.

24. The method of claim 23, wherein the selection of the specific text field made by the user'"'"'s touch of the specific text field causes the input area to be displayed in addition to the displaying of the selected text field.

25. The method of claim 23, wherein the user'"'"'s input is received by at least one touch of the screen.

26. The method of claim 23, further comprising:

transferring the user'"'"'s input from the input area to the selected text field in response to the user'"'"'s request.

27. A display method for a mobile terminal, comprising:

displaying at least one or more text fields;

receiving a user'"'"'s touch of an area in one of the at least one or more text fields; and

magnifying an area associated with the user'"'"'s touch according to the user'"'"'s touch, wherein the magnified area is used for an input operation.

28. A display method for a mobile terminal, comprising:

displaying a browser including at least one or more text fields;

receiving a user'"'"'s touch of one text field from the at least one or more text fields; and

in response to the user'"'"'s touch, enlarging the selected text field and/or displaying an input field in addition to the selected text field, wherein the enlarged text field and/or the displayed input field is used for the user'"'"'s input.
