Abstract

There are provided an input unit which inputs an object with scan information attached thereto into an image of a subject acquired on the basis of the scan information, and an insertion unit which inserts report information to the object when preparation of an image interpretation report of a study based on the image is completed.

Claims

1. An apparatus for storing medical information comprising:

a storage unit which stores an object including scan information of a scan executed as study by a medical diagnostic imaging apparatus and a positioning image acquired for the scan; and

an insertion unit which inserts information that identifies an interpretation report based on the image obtained by the scan into the object.

2. The apparatus for storing medical information according to claim 1, wherein the insertion unit searches for a corresponding object from the image referred to at the time of preparation of a present report from the storage unit and inserts present report information into the object.

3. The apparatus for storing medical information according to claim 1, wherein the insertion unit inserts previous report information in an object of a previous study into a recently created object in addition to present report information.

4. The apparatus for storing medical information according to claim 2, wherein the insertion unit inserts previous report information in an object of a previous study into a recently created object in addition to the present report information.

The apparatus for storing medical information according to claim 1, wherein the insertion unit is triggered by a notice of preparation completion of an interpretation report based on an image acquired by the scan from a report preparation support system and inserts information that identifies the report into the object.

6. A method for storing medical information, comprising:

acquiring an object including scan information of a scan executed as study by a medical diagnostic imaging apparatus and a positioning image acquired for the scan;

inserting information that identifies an interpretation report based on the image obtained by the scan into the acquired object; and

storing the object with the information that identifies the interpretation report inserted.

7. The method for storing medical information according to claim 6, wherein in the insertion, a corresponding object is searched for from the image referred to at the time of preparation of a present report from a plurality of the objects and present report information is inserted into the object.

8. The method for storing medical information according to claim 6, wherein in the insertion, previous report information in an object of a previous study is inserted in a recently created object in addition to present report information.

9. The method for storing medical information according to claim 7, wherein in the insertion, previous report information in an object of a previous study is inserted in a recently created object in addition to the present report information.

The method for storing medical information according to claim 6, wherein in the insertion, a notice of preparation completion of an interpretation report based on the image acquired by the scan from a report preparation support system triggers to insert the information that identifies the report into the object.
