Abstract

An image processing device which is provided with a communication unit configured to communicate with an information processing device, and a web server unit configured to generate a webpage which can be browsed by a web browser executed in the information processing device and transmit the generated webpage to the information processing device. The web server unit includes an information acquiring unit configured to acquire language information of the web browser, a designating unit configured to insert designation of a character code set corresponding to the language information acquired by the information acquired by the language information acquiring unit in the webpage, and an incorporating unit configured to incorporate language information acquired from the image processing device into a text of the webpage.

Claims

1. An image processing device, comprising:

a communication unit configured to communicate with an information processing device;

a web server unit configured to generate a webpage which can be browsed by a web browser executed in the information processing device and transmit the generated webpage to the information processing device,

wherein the web server unit includes;

an information acquiring unit configured to acquire language information of the web browser;

a designating unit configured to insert designation of a character code set corresponding to the language information acquired by the information acquired by the language information acquiring unit in the webpage; and

an incorporating unit configured to incorporate language information acquired from the image processing device into a text of the webpage.

2. The image processing device according to claim 1,

wherein the web server unit is operable in a first mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters of a character code set corresponding to a language selected from among a plurality of languages, and in a second mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters which a common among a plurality of character code sets and inserts a designation of a character code set corresponding to the language information of the web browser in the webpage.

3. The image processing device according to claim 2,

wherein, when the web server unit operates in the second mode, the web server unit creates the text of the webpage in English, using ASCII characters as the characters common among the plurality of character code sets.

4. The image processing device according to claim 2,

further comprising:

a printing unit configured to print an image based on a file received from the image processing device via the communication unit; and

a log information storage configured to store log file regarding the file printed by the printing unit,

wherein the information acquiring unit acquires the log information from the log information storage, and

wherein the incorporating unit incorporates the log information in the text of the webpage.

5. The image processing device according to claim 2,

further comprising input information storage,

wherein the information acquiring unit acquires character information input on the web browser via the communication unit and stores the acquired character information in the input information storage, and

wherein the incorporating unit incorporates the character information in the text of the webpage.

6. The image processing device according to claim 1,

further comprising:

a printing unit configured to print an image based on a file received from the image processing device via the communication unit; and

a log information storage configured to store log file regarding the file printed by the printing unit,

wherein the information acquiring unit acquires the log information from the log information storage, and

wherein the incorporating unit incorporates the log information in the text of the webpage.

7. The image processing device according to claim 1,

further comprising input information storage,

wherein the information acquiring unit acquires character information input on the web browser via the communication unit and stores the acquired character information in the input information storage, and

wherein the incorporating unit incorporates the character information in the text of the webpage.

8. A method of controlling an image processing device which is provided with a communication unit configured to communicate with an information processing device, and a web server unit configured to generate a webpage which can be browsed by a web browser executed in the information processing device and transmit the generated webpage to the information processing device, the method comprising the steps of:

acquiring language information of the web browser;

designating a character code set corresponding to the language information acquired by the step of acquiring the language information; and

incorporating the language information into a text of the webpage.

9. The method according to claim 8,

wherein the web server unit is operable in a first mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters of a character code set corresponding to a language selected from among a plurality of languages, and in a second mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters which a common among a plurality of character code sets and inserts a designation of a character code set corresponding to the language information of the web browser in the webpage.

10. The method according to claim 9,

wherein, when the web server unit operates in the second mode, the web server unit creates the text of the webpage in English, using ASCII characters as the characters common among the plurality of character code sets.

11. The method according to claim 9,

wherein the image processing device further includes:

a printing unit configured to print an image based on a file received from the image processing device via the communication unit; and

a log information storage configured to store log file regarding the file printed by the printing unit,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires the log information from the log information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the log information in the text of the webpage.

12. The method according to claim 9,

wherein the image processing device further includes an input information storage,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires character information input on the web browser via the communication unit and stores the acquired character information in the input information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the character information in the text of the webpage.

13. The method according to claim 8,

wherein the image processing device further includes:

a printing unit configured to print an image based on a file received from the image processing device via the communication unit; and

a log information storage configured to store log file regarding the file printed by the printing unit,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires the log information from the log information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the log information in the text of the webpage.

14. The method according to claim 8,

wherein the image processing device further includes an input information storage,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires character information input on the web browser via the communication unit and stores the acquired character information in the input information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the character information in the text of the webpage.

15. A computer accessible recording medium containing a program to be executed by a computer of an image processing device provided with a communication unit configured to communicate with an information processing device, and a web server unit configured to generate a webpage which can be browsed by a web browser executed in the information processing device and transmit the generated webpage to the information processing device, the program causes the computer, when executed, to perform the steps of:

acquiring language information of the web browser;

designating a character code set corresponding to the language information acquired by the step of acquiring the language information; and

incorporating the language information into a text of the webpage.

16. The computer accessible recording medium according to claim 15,

wherein the web server unit is operable in a first mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters of a character code set corresponding to a language selected from among a plurality of languages, and in a second mode in which the text of the webpage is displayed using characters which a common among a plurality of character code sets and inserts a designation of a character code set corresponding to the language information of the web browser in the webpage.

17. The computer accessible recording medium according to claim 16,

wherein, when the web server unit operates in the second mode, the web server unit creates the text of the webpage in English, using ASCII characters as the characters common among the plurality of character code sets.

18. The computer accessible recording medium according to claim 15,

wherein the image processing device further includes:

a printing unit configured to print an image based on a file received from the image processing device via the communication unit; and

a log information storage configured to store log file regarding the file printed by the printing unit,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires the log information from the log information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the log information in the text of the webpage.

19. The computer accessible recording medium according to claim 15,

wherein the image processing device further includes an input information storage,

wherein the step of acquiring acquires character information input on the web browser via the communication unit and stores the acquired character information in the input information storage, and

wherein the step of incorporating incorporates the character information in the text of the webpage.
