Abstract

An apparatus for processing a signal and method thereof are disclosed. Data coding and entropy coding are performed with interconnection, and grouping is used to enhance coding efficiency. The present invention includes the steps of obtaining data coding identification information and decoding data according to a data coding scheme indicated by the data coding identification information. The data coding scheme includes a pilot coding scheme at least, wherein the pilot coding scheme decodes the data using a pilot reference value corresponding to a plurality of the data and a pilot difference value, and wherein the pilot difference value is generated using the data and the pilot reference value.

Claims

1. A method of processing a signal, comprising the steps of:

obtaining data coding identification information from the signal; and

decoding data according to a data coding scheme indicated by the data coding identification information,

wherein the data coding scheme includes at least a pilot coding scheme, wherein the pilot coding scheme decodes the data using a pilot reference value corresponding to the data and a pilot difference value, and wherein the pilot difference value is generated using the data and the pilot reference value.

The method of claim 1, wherein the data coding scheme further includes a differential coding scheme, wherein the differential coding scheme comprises one of a frequency differential coding scheme and a time differential coding scheme, and wherein the time differential coding scheme comprises one of a forward time differential coding scheme and a backward time differential coding scheme.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising the steps of:

obtaining entropy coding identification information; and

entropy-decoding the data using an entropy coding scheme indicated by the entropy coding identification information.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein in the data decoding step, the entropy-decoded data is decoded by the data coding scheme.

5. The method of claim 3, wherein the entropy decoding scheme comprises one of a one-dimensional coding scheme and a multi-dimensional coding scheme and wherein the multi-dimensional coding scheme comprises one of a frequency pair coding scheme and a time pair coding scheme.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of decoding an audio signal using the data as parameters.

7. An apparatus for processing a signal, comprising:

an identification information obtaining part configured for obtaining from the signal data coding identification information; and

a decoding part configured for decoding data according to a data coding scheme indicated by the data coding identification information,

wherein the data coding scheme includes at least a pilot coding scheme, wherein the pilot coding scheme decodes the data using a pilot reference value corresponding to data and a pilot difference value, and wherein the pilot difference value is generated using the data and the pilot reference value.

8. A method of processing a signal, comprising the steps of:

encoding data according to a data coding scheme; and

generating data coding identification information indicating the data coding scheme,

wherein the data coding scheme includes a pilot coding scheme at least, the pilot coding scheme for encoding the data using a pilot reference value corresponding to data and a pilot difference value, and wherein the pilot difference value is generated using the data and the pilot reference value.

9. An apparatus for processing a signal, comprising:

an encoding part configured for encoding data obtained from the signal according to a data coding scheme; and

an outputting part configured for generating data coding identification information indicating the data coding scheme,

wherein the data coding scheme includes at least a pilot coding scheme, the pilot coding scheme for encoding the data using a pilot reference value corresponding to the data and a pilot difference value, and wherein the pilot difference value is generated using the data and the pilot reference value.
