determining a sensitivity value associated with the received calibration parameter;
retrieving a prior sensitivity value associated with the analyte sensor; and
determining a composite sensitivity for the analyte sensor based on one or more of the calibration parameter received, the determined sensitivity value and the retrieved prior sensitivity value.
