Abstract

A mobile battery management system comprising receiving a battery management parameter by a client from a server over a communication path, detecting a battery control mode with the battery management parameter in the client, and operating the client based on the battery control mode and the battery management parameter.

Claims

1. A mobile battery management system comprising:

receiving a battery management parameter by a client from a server over a communication path;

detecting a battery control mode with the battery management parameter in the client and

operating the client based on the battery control mode and the battery management parameter.

2. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein sending the battery management parameter comprises sending a navigation data from the server.

3. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein sending the battery management parameter comprises sending a traffic data.

4. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a user selected parameter.

5. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling a GPS operation of the client.

6. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling an audio operation of the client.

7. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling an operation of the display.

8. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling a standby operation of a display.

9. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein operating a display comprises activating the display to show a navigation data.

10. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein operating a display comprises activating the display to show a traffic data.

11. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein operating a display comprises activating the display to show a user requested event.

12. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein operating a display comprises activating the display to show a predetermined event.

14. The system as claimed in claim 10 wherein sending the battery management parameter comprises sending a navigation data from the server.

15. The system as claimed in claim 10 wherein sending the battery management parameter comprises sending a traffic data.

13. A mobile power management system comprising:

communicating from a server to a client over a communication path;

calculating the battery management parameter by the server; and

sending the battery management parameter from the server to the client for controlling an operation of the client.

16. A mobile power management system in a client comprising:

a communication path for interacting with a server;

storage means coupled to the communication path for storing a battery management parameter from the server and a battery control mode in the client; and

a client display coupled to the storage means to receive a display control signal for controlling the display based on the battery management parameters and the battery control mode.

17. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling a GPS operation of the client.

18. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling an audio operation of the client.

19. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling an operation of the display.

20. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein detecting the battery control mode comprises a predetermined mode for controlling a standby operation of the display.

21. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein the display control signal activates the display to show a navigation data.

22. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein the display control signal activates the display to show a traffic data.

23. The system as claimed in claim 16 wherein the display control signal activates the display to show a user requested event.
