Abstract
A system interconnection inverter includes a step-up converter and an inverter. Moreover, the system interconnection inverter includes a short-circuit current-interrupting diode with a cathode connected to an input terminal of a negative bus, a semiconductor switch connected to an anode of the short-circuit current-interrupting diode, a semiconductor switch drive circuit that drives the semiconductor switch, a semiconductor switch-off circuit that turns off the semiconductor switch drive circuit when negative power is applied such that electric current flows from a cathode toward an anode of the input terminal, and a control circuit that controls the semiconductor switch drive circuit.

13. A system interconnection inverter comprising:
-
a converter that performs at least one of step-up and step-down of DC power; an inverter that inverts an output of the converter to AC power; a pair of serially connected capacitors connected to a pair of DC buses that connects respective input terminals of the DC power to the converter; a short-circuit current-interrupting diode inserted in a direction that does not interrupt flow of electric current made to flow to the pair of DC buses by DC power connected with correct polarity, at either one of input terminals of a positive bus and a negative bus constituting the pair of DC buses; a semiconductor switch connected to one end of the short-circuit current-interrupting diode when the other end of the short-circuit current-interrupting diode is connected to an input terminal of the DC power; a semiconductor switch drive circuit that drives the semiconductor switch; a semiconductor switch-off circuit that turns off the semiconductor switch drive circuit when negative power is applied such that electric current flows from a cathode toward an anode of the input terminal; and a control circuit that controls the semiconductor switch drive circuit. - View Dependent Claims (14)
