Abstract

A system for dynamic content delivery is provided. The system includes a control component to determine location, preferences, and state of a user. A delivery component dynamically selects and provides content to the user as a function of the user'"'"'s location, preferences, and state.

Claims

1. A system for dynamic content delivery, comprising:

a control component to determine location, preferences, and state of a user; and

a delivery component to dynamically select and provide content to the user as a function of the user'"'"'s location, context, preferences, and state.

2. The system of claim 1, further comprising a profile component to capture the state and preferences of the user.

3. The system of claim 2, the profile component includes interruption component, a recreational component, an artistic component, a security component, a time component, a calendar component, a geographical component, or a general settings component.

4. The system of claim 1, further comprising a location detection component to determine the location of the user.

5. The system of claim 4, the location detection component includes a global positioning system, a wireless signal component, inertial navigation component, or a local proximity sensor.

6. The system of claim 4, the location detection component is associated with a movie, a restaurant, a building, a museum, a club, a venue, or a vista.

7. The system of claim 6, the location detection component is employed to identify users that are within a given location.

8. The system of claim 7, further comprising a component to exchange present state information between users, present sensing information between users, or profile information between users.

9. The system of claim 1, further comprising a dynamic bumper component to push information to a user at a given location.

10. The system of claim 9, the dynamic bumper component is associated with a video output, an audio output, a mechanical output, or a scent output.

11. The system of claim 1, further comprising an input medium to record user data associated with a location.

12. The system of claim 11, input medium includes a ranking field, a comment field, a question field, a profile field, a recommendation field, or a tag field.

13. The system of claim 1, further comprising at least one ranking device and a collection component to generate feedback that is employed to alter a present event.

14. The system of claim 1, further comprising a data capture device that generates an output to trigger presentation of localized data.

15. The system of claim 14, the data capture device analyzes an audio file, a video file, an image file, or a sensor file.

16. A method to generate location data for a user, comprising:

associating data with a database that serves a local area;

detecting a user'"'"'s location with respect to the area; and

pushing data to the user that is related to the detected location.

17. The method of claim 16, further comprising analyzing at least one user profile at the detected location.

18. The method of claim 16, further comprising capturing information from a user device at the detected location.

19. The method of claim 16, further comprising employing a beacon to establish a localized network at the detected location.

20. A location based information system, comprising:

means for detecting a user'"'"'s location within a predetermined area;

means for analyzing a profile associated with the user; and

means for communicating information to the user based in part on the location and the profile.
