Abstract

Computer-aided design and manufacture software and hardware automate garment and fashion definition and production. Configurable garment includes ornamental element, pattern display, and personal identifier and wireless sensor electronics.

Claims

1. User interface appliance for reconfigurable garment definition/production comprising:

a display device comprising command, design template, fabric category, and 3-D body profile;

a user device comprising user control device, and smart changing room;

a networking interface for coupling to a user, design, manufacturing, and database; and

a processor/memory coupled to the display device, user device, and networking interface to enable reconfigurable garment definition or production.

2. Appliance of claim 1 wherein the processor/memory is user- reconfigured for garment reconfiguration.

3. Reconfigurable garment definition/production method comprising steps:

defining a reconfigurable garment definition;

verifying the reconfigurable garment definition;

assembling a reconfigurable garment according to the reconfigurable garment definition; and

testing the reconfigurable garment.

4. Method of claim 3 further comprising step:

modifying the reconfigurable garment definition to re-assemble a reconfigured garment.

5. Reconfigurable garment comprising:

an ornament;

an identifier/sensor;

a pattern display;

a power source; and

a network interface coupled to the ornament, identifier/sensor, pattern display, and power source.

6. Garment of claim 5 wherein user access to the network interface enables garment reconfiguration.
