Abstract
The present invention has an object to provide an in-vivo image acquiring system, an in-vivo image processing method, and a body-insertable apparatus which can decrease a number of wasted images. According to the in-vivo image acquiring system of the present invention, the body-insertable apparatus attaches type information corresponding to optical information of the imaging unit of the body-insertable apparatus to image information of the inside of the subject, and transmits the image information. A processing apparatus 4 acquires the optical information corresponding to the type information attached to the image information to be processed, and processes the image information to be processed using an image-processing program corresponding to the acquired optical information. The processing apparatus 4 can processes images corresponding to portions other than the applied area of the body-insertable apparatus using the image-processing program corresponding to the acquired optical information so that the image information to be processed can be used. Thus, the image which corresponds to portions other than the applied area and which is captured by body-insertable apparatus can be used for diagnosis and the like.
