Abstract

A method, computer readable medium and system for sponsored printing of images with promotional material includes identifying at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on at least one criteria. The identified promotional material and the image are provided in a combined format for printing on a media.

Claims

1. A method for sponsored printing of images with promotional material, the method comprising:

identifying at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on at least one criteria; and

providing the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format for printing on a media.

2. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising printing the identified promotional material and the selected image in the combined format on the media.

3. The method as set forth in claim 2 further comprising providing a perforation in the media, wherein the identified promotional material and the selected image are on opposing sides of the perforation.

4. The method as set forth in claim 2 further comprising:

identifying at least one other of the one or more promotional materials for at least one of one or more images based on the at least one criteria;

printing the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials on other media; and

providing the media with the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format and the other media with the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials.

5. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising:

storing the one or more images; and

receiving a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

6. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising obtaining demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the obtained demographic information.

7. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising identifying content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the identified content.

8. The method as set forth in claim 1 further comprising receiving a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.

9. A computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions for sponsored printing of images with promotional material comprising machine executable code which when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to perform steps comprising:

identifying at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on at least one criteria; and

providing the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format for printing on a media.

10. The medium as set forth in claim 9 further comprising printing the identified promotional material and the selected image in the combined format on the media.

11. The medium as set forth in claim 10 further comprising providing a perforation in the media, wherein the identified promotional material and the selected image are on opposing sides of the perforation.

12. The medium as set forth in claim 10 further comprising:

identifying at least one other of the one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on the at least one criteria;

printing the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials on other media; and

providing the media with the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format and the other media with the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials.

13. The medium as set forth in claim 9 further comprising:

storing the one or more images; and

receiving a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

14. The medium as set forth in claim 9 further comprising obtaining demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the obtained demographic information.

15. The medium as set forth in claim 9 further comprising identifying content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the identified content.

16. The medium as set forth in claim 9 further comprising receiving a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.

17. A sponsored printing system comprising:

an identification system that identifies at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on at least one criteria; and

an image processing system that provides the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format for printing on a media.

18. The system as set forth in claim 17 further comprising a printing system that prints the identified promotional material and the selected image in the combined format on the media.

19. The system as set forth in claim 18 wherein the printing system provides a perforation in the media, wherein the identified promotional material and the selected image are printed on opposing sides of the perforation.

20. The system as set forth in claim 18 wherein the identification system identifies at least one other of the one or more promotional materials for at least one of a one or more images based on at least one criteria, the printing system prints the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials on other media, and the image processing system provides the media with the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format and the other media with the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials.

21. The system as set forth in claim 17 further comprising a storage system that store the one or more images and a selection system that receives a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

22. The system as set forth in claim 17 further comprising information processing system that obtains demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria used by the identification system is related to the obtained demographic information.

23. The system as set forth in claim 17 further comprising a content analysis system that identifies content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria used by the identification system is related to the identified content.

24. The system as set forth in claim 17 further comprising a selection system that receives a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.

25. A method for sponsored printing of images with promotional material, the method comprising:

identifying at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of one or more images based on at least one criteria;

providing the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format for printing on a media;

printing the identified promotional material and the selected image in the combined format on the media;

identifying at least one other of the one or more promotional materials for at least one of one or more images based on at least one criteria;

printing the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials on other media; and

providing the media with the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format together with the other media with the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials.

26. The method as set forth in claim 25 further comprising providing a perforation in the media, wherein the identified promotional material and the selected image are on opposing sides of the perforation.

27. The method as set forth in claim 25 further comprising:

storing the one or more images; and

receiving a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

28. The method as set forth in claim 25 further comprising obtaining demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the obtained demographic information.

29. The method as set forth in claim 25 further comprising identifying content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the identified content.

30. The method as set forth in claim 25 further comprising receiving a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.

31. A computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions for sponsored printing of images with promotional material comprising machine executable code which when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to perform steps comprising:

identifying at least one of one or more promotional materials for at least one of one or more images based on at least one criteria;

providing the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format for printing on a media;

printing the identified promotional material and the selected image in the combined format on the media;

identifying at least one other of the one or more promotional materials for at least one of one or more images based on at least one criteria;

printing the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials on other media; and

providing the media with the identified promotional material and the image in a combined format together with the other media with the at least one other of the one or more promotional materials.

32. The medium as set forth in claim 31 further comprising providing a perforation in the media, wherein the identified promotional material and the selected image are on opposing sides of the perforation.

33. The medium as set forth in claim 31 further comprising:

storing the one or more images; and

receiving a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

34. The medium as set forth in claim 31 further comprising obtaining demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the obtained demographic information.

35. The medium as set forth in claim 31 further comprising identifying content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the identified content.

36. The medium as set forth in claim 31 further comprising receiving a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.

37. A sponsored printing system comprising:

a matching system that matches at least one of one or more promotional materials with at least one of one or more images based on at least one criteria, the matching system matches at least one other of the one or more promotional materials with at least one of one or more images based on the at least one criteria;

an image processing system that combines the matched promotional material and the image and prints the combined format on media and the at least one other matched one or more promotional materials on other media; and

a distribution system that provides the media with the matched promotional material and the image in a combined format together with the other media with the at least one other matched one or more promotional materials.

38. The system as set forth in claim 37 further comprising a perforation system that perforates the media, wherein the image processing system prints the promotional material and the selected image on opposing sides of the perforation in the media.

39. The system as set forth in claim 37 further comprising storage processing system that stores the one or more images and process a selection of the at least one image from the stored one or more images.

40. The system as set forth in claim 37 further comprising an information processing system that obtains demographic information associated with each of the one or more images, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the obtained demographic information.

41. The system as set forth in claim 37 further comprising a content analysis system that identifies content in the at least one image, wherein the at least on criteria in the identifying is related to the identified content.

42. The system as set forth in claim 37 further comprising a selection processing system that processes a selection of at least obtaining the image in a format for printing at least a reduced cost in exchange for the combined format.
